Morning Y'all
The pie was pretty good D. I just made it up as I went along - pretty much what I do ![]() 3 breast fillets, about 1/2" cubes A punnet of Swiss Mushies - quarted 1 onion, julienned about a teaspoon of garlic 1 chicken stock cube a good splash of dry white wine about a litre of white sauce (home made) some basil some parsley there was another herb but I can't remember what it was? I think it was some thyme? and I was going to stir some flaked Parmesan in just before I assembled the pie but I forgot to do that - I would have added a nice flavor but it was still good. Just browned the chicken and added everything else to the pot (slowcooker). Then slow cooked the lot for about 6 hours, stirring occasionally. Buttered up a couple of pie dishes, laid down the puff pastry and assembled. Covered it over with another sheet of puff pastry, egg wash over the top and baked them for about 40min at 180C.

it may not mean much to some of you guys, but the cigars are very hard to find as they were made in 2008 and 2009. I couldn't believe that I found them so I picked up several of the each.

Litto, the owner and master blender, makes great cigars. I've had all of the factory press except the III so this will complete having smoked that line for me.
Ya might notice as well, I put their logo on the back of the jag. |

Had a nice visitor tonight. Sid came up from his motel in Norman to have dinner with us. Burp. We suggested a local Latin place. Not Mexican, but south American food. It was good food. Sid & I had a glass of D's beer. It had a good head and was good as I remember from D's house. I have a photo I will post in the morning.

I saved you some beer. It may be a little flatter but it will still be good.

D, the beer was good, I'll definitely have to come tour the brewery some time. Was my first glass of homebrew, and a good glass it was. Good luck! |

I wasn't hiding. Just don't open my mouth unless I feel like I really want to say something. Been busy trying to have fun with the boys before school starts this week. Ex took my son to meet the teacher night and I taking him to his first day. Driving three hours home for an account and back just to make it.
Other than that, getting my jollies living vicariously through you fellas.
