that rendition of the anthem was awesome. then again, the low was set by roseanne barr.

I have taken to swerving around dead skunks, don't think it would be "healthy" to run over a dead one! I like my car to continue to smell the way it does now!!

Hi Dave

You do sound down in the dumps maaaaaaaate, (Auzzie slang and term of endearment there for you)!

Don't let the ba5tard5 at work get you down, just think of it as a means to an end, you must eat therefore off to work you go!!

My hubby is on a conference call to Aust, started at 8pm and will go on for hours, sigh, the one downer with living in the US and working for the Aust Defence, they aren't at work the same time as you are.

i get the slang....

its been a crazy year for me, at work. the hostility of the environment has been phenomenal. and it doesn't appear that it is going to get better.

my plan: keep going. fk em. and keep looking for new work.

cheers!

The rental car Dodge POS has been returned. I finally got a buddy over that can help. He jacked up the front right and said hit the key. Just a click and the nothing. He shorts it and a spark jumps at the connection to the armature. A quick tighten of that bolt that comes from the factory tight and all is well. Dang factory connection cost me all the grief.

It was a Dodge Avenger. I have no idea what it costs new. It was not horrible but I am real glad to get my 26 year old 308,000 mile vehicle back on the commute.
