Yeah, F it. BTW, it's gonna be in the 80's this weekend at our Socal house, and then it'll drop into the "chilly" 70's. And I'm here in DC. Brrrrr.

Okay Max, let me tweak what I have been trying to say to you. You don't have to be a party animal, you don't have to drink, nor toke up, or any of that, you are actually smart for not going down that road, it has been detrimental to a whole lot of people, and could change the course of your life before you know it. BUT, there is absolutely nothing wrong with having a strong social life. I met Beth not long after high school so the partying into the 20's just didn't interest me, well we partied but it was Beth and I partying together.
Back in high school I was on the deans list, starting defensive lineman on the football team, worked close to 30 hours a week and still found time to leave school with a different girl every week. It is all in what you want and what you are willing to deal with. I gotz news for ya kid, you look foolish simply by not trying to make a fool of yourself.
You have a good head on your shoulders but you need to let the other head do some of your thinking, trust me on that one.

Well today might prove to be interesting, we are having dinner at my MIL's as we do every year and it is always a good time. My MIL has a heart as big as her back side but she is as irritating as the day is long, love the woman to death in small doses. Possil will be there, I can feel the hackles on my neck already standing up, and my SIL will be there. I went to school with the SIL and couldn't stand her then and the years have not changed the fact that I detest her self important attitude. Last thanksgiving there were some major issues that we all agreed would be suspended during thanksgiving for the sake of my MIL, it went well until my SIL followed me out the door and started in on me. I reminded her three times that we were not discussing anything that day and then I let it fly..............damn near drop kicked her into the next county. Beth even had my back on that one against her own sister. I pray to what ever deity might find it in them to grant me the strength to not beat Possil to death with my SIL today.
I think I'll eat at the kids table where the conversation is always honest and fun.

I need to catch up with my dad and wish him a happy thanksgiving, although I am not sure if he is here or at his girlfriends in NOVA. Hell I might just call his GF, she is always easier to find.

Just got off the phone with Dad and he is bringing the Targa back for some work, I told him I was going to keep it for a while to put some miles on it. Beth has already planned to keep it as her daily driver.
