I think it was that last enviro-tard wagon I ran over, I got tired of picking them from the grill and started backing over them instead

Rick, I presume it is a least spring. Did it rust out? I have never heard of flattening a spring. But I don't get out much.

You are correct Glen it is a leaf spring, and has just lost it's arc from use and age. No rust issues, I just know what a truck is for. I leveled her back up yesterday by adjusting the helpers, but that is only a temporary solution. The helpers are only rated for 2,500lbs

Are 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive springs the same? I've got a pair of those out in the back 40 some where.
I've also got a 1980 ramcharger 4x4 i could dissect.

I've had worn out springs on a couple of cars. One was a Full Size GMC Jimmy 4x4. Was hauling a lot of cheese, well over the weight specifications limit. And quite a bit of off-road craziness. The other was a 944 TurboS at 80,000 miles the rear torsion bars were shot and would bottom out on acceleration. The previous owner liked downshifting and flooring it on the highway every day back and forth to work.

Oh, and, thanks for making the grocery run this morning Glen. Nice to have the staples replenished just before all the holiday festivities. (which will most likely be a lot of sleep for me.) Doc took me off all antibiotics and put me on probiotics, foot has started hurting more so sleep under pain killer's enfluence more too.

Shipping is all.
I'll fire up the tractor in the am and head out back and see if i can find them. Not much snow so shouldn't have a problem finding them. I think they're off a 1978 (IIRC) 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive.
Need the hangers too?
If your not in a hurry i might be able to get them closer to you after the holidays if you don't mind a blast of arctic air.

Not in a hurry at all and don't go looking for them unless you are already heading out that way.

Tractor is chained up and the loader is on. I'll just need to hook on to it (it's a cut off rear frame)
and take it down to the garage and whittle them off.
