Wow using a M-16 sounds dangerous. That bullet will go a long way.

Nope, riot control rounds.

D, get yourself an AA12 that'll do the job well.

Thank you. I just need to find incense that has no smell. This Nag Champa stuff that the local 7-11 carries, really stinks! I take a few pix, put the incense out and have to open the windows for a bit. It's cold out at night!

P.S. I was able to get back into my house via my manager.

There are incense sticks that smell fruity. I remember buying raspberry or strawberry or something like that long time ago. Still a hint of that incense smell but better than the other stuff.

I could go to a head shop and get some other scents. I may do that. I'll probably give it one more go with what I have tonight. It's not that bad the next day, just really sucks while taking the pix, since my head is pretty much right over the smoke.

Blech! My mom is Buddhist so she always has that stuff burning. I can withstand it but too much gives me a headache. But then again so does perfume and certain colognes. I burn scented candles all day long. I guess it is more the scent that bugs me.

Used ladies undergarments sprayed with starter fluid smokes pretty good and has a unique smell. They will also provide a surprising amount of warmth.

OK, I'll bite. Why do they have to be used? And can you tell me in a way that doesn't tell me how you found this out?

The kids have been bugging my wife for fish (as if we don't have enough pets already). She gave in, so off to the pet store we went this afternoon. We came home with some feeder goldfish. While setting up the tank, I turned my back and this is what I came back to find:

It's a little late, but.... Ideally, you want to get the tank first and have it run for a two weeks or so, without fish. Once it is established, then add the fish. You should be okay though. How big is the tank and how many fish?

BTW, I had offered to give you guys fish! Nice ones too!

Yeah, I told Liz that when we were at the store. But the kids wanted to pick out fish on their own. Plus all the gravel and accessories/toys. Our gravel is pink.

7 little feeder fish. They're hardy. And if not, they're cheap. The tank is 10 gallons, I think. I'm running the tank overnight at least, before trying the fish in there tomorrow morning. I ran up to my parents' house to get a tank and filter they weren't using. I have a second tank, too, but found out that it weeps a little at the base.

The fish are being kept in the bathroom for the night.

Here's a shot of the other activity we've been doing this past weekend. Special night-time extended shutter exposure shot for MIRRC posterity. Notice the cat stalks the cars, too.

A little late, but here's a pic from Christmas morning. My daughter woke up at 6:30 in the morning (her usual) and and insisted on taking Mommy through an inventory of all the presents under the tree. My wife was thrilled. I came down the stairs to find this scene:
