No chemicals, just draining the radiator, filling with distilled water, running the car with heat on high and repeating 4 times., then filling the radiator with dexcool.

Not wise, the M1 chucks the brass backwards, and it is hot

Hey Rick (or anyone else that wants to impart knowledge),

The coolant talk from a couple of posts back got me thinking. Do you have an opinion on waterless coolant?

I saw a Wheeler Dealers show recently, and Ed was banging on about it. It got me interested and I'm still doing the interwebs research.

hehe

It seems to be an interesting technology, although expensive. But when you weigh it up;
A once off expense for the life of the engine (no more flush and fills),
No corrosion,
Cooler running temp (more efficient coolant),
Temp range -40C to 180C

The more I read about it them more I'm considering giving it a go.

Here's a couple of waterless coolant manufacturers. They all seem to blow the wind up their own arses, and the negative article comes from a coolant manufacturer that has a vested interest in making the waterless tech look bad.

I'm trying to find an independent test article to get an unbiased opinion.

Afternoon chaps...

I finally got the lights working properly on my demo trailer, the toolbox latching properly, and the generator full of gas.... Ready to hit the road and go sell some stuff in the morning....

I wonder how much Evans pays Leno to endorse their product?
