Before I joined the airforce, I was in the building industry. Bloody Magpies in the spring would often find nails flying at them from my nail gun, @ three nails per second.
 Never managed to hit one, but you should have seen them darting this way and that to avoid them nails. It'd stop them swooping me for the day.

 What is wrong with the world??? It is never this cold. I am going to die next weekend running the half marathon. I am gonna die anyway. I think I am getting sick. Sore throat, stuffy nose. No fever though. Knock on wood. All in the name to stay in shape and lose some weight. I am doing the Pelican weight loss challenge and yeah, this is gonna be a long road. I was so disciplined before. Now with the kids wanting stuff and having it around, hard to fight temptation. Before they ate baby food, now they eat the good stuff. |
