Good thread I have an 870 express. I used to work with an engineer that had one and when started to miss he would switch to a single shot. Bird hunting is not home protection. Sides you only get 3 shots while hunting.

yours looks exactly like mine. i think they only came in red or yellow, stock. mine is also painted black. go get the suspension professionally set at the ducati shop. it'll make a HUGE difference. they will do it with you sitting on it.

there is also a battery cable mod that is worth doing.

starting in 1999, the CR's got the same upgraded components as the full fairing SS, including the aluminum swingarm.

Nearest Duc shop is 200 miles so I learned to do a lot with the last one. The belts look solid. Ill probably do em inb3-4k when I do valves. Valves service is not as bad as most like to believe and interval is right around the timing belt interval. Gonna install a trickle charger connector, change plugs and oil tonight. The pipes on it are 3/4 cored and sound almost as vicious as the straight through Termis I had on my last. Cant wait to get home and ride!

Bit yeah, despite hp/torque stats that make jap riders laugh, duc made these surprisingly quick
