Morning folks.

Azzy, just filter the SLC smog thru the media filter. I am sure the smog in SLC was bad, but nothing like China. The media will make things look worse than it really is. When a tornado hits, the media would make it seem the entire city is devistated when in fact it is just one block long. out of a 1000 sq mile city.

Yes, I must admit that the news here leaves a lot to be desired. Not much international, or really meaty type news, that is actually news. As if I care what happened on Idol, or Downtown Abbey etc last night, that is not news!

Glen's right about the sensationalism for small events. I don't watch news on TV. It's pretty much crap. I just read the news from a variety of sources on the internet. Hopefully, that hasn't let my brain turn to mush.

Yep. The "news" is just an biased entertainment program for the most part.

I worked for as a newspaper photographer years ago. On virtually every event I covered I would read the article, see my photo and scratch my head and wonder if the reporter was really there.
