My wife is like that, everything is seemingly edible to her.

the motorcycle accident was probably the most serious, however the bicycle incident was definitely the most painful (my current 10/10 for pain) and laid me up for the longest time (i still have residual problems).

i still use all those modes of transportation.

I am pretty much omnivorous. If I see someone else actually eating it I will try it.

I dislike mustard flavors. Don't put mustard on my sandwich! If I am at someones home and the sandwiches are all made with mustard I will eat it to be polite if I am hungry. If I am paying for a sandwich it will be sent back in a heartbeat if it has mustard on it.

I just want to say that Jim will now be referred to as, "Dr. Chim Richalds" because everytime I see your name that's what pops up in my brain.

Afternoon all,

quiet day in MD, went to mornos with the other Auzzie ladies. Early letoff school day, teachers having 'policy talks', well that could take them until the end of the year, me thinks.

All this talk of sushi and foods has got me thinking of what was the most disgusting thing I have eaten, and I think it would have to be sea cucumbers or sea sluggs, gross, they were so bitter, makes me gag just thinking about them, and they didn't look so crash hot either.

On a nicer note, steak, baked smashed spuds drizzled in olive oil and a touch of garlic, and salad for dinner, followed by home made chocolate chip and cheesecake muffins (the young fella made on Sunday), served warm with vanilla ice cream, low fat of course! ha ha ha Oh, and the obligatory glass of vino thrown in there somewhere. That's our menu for tonight, I know its early to be thinking about dinner, but its a habit I have developed after 30 years being married to a tapeworm hubby! If he talks to me during the day at all, that's the first thing he asks me, "what's for dinner?". If I say "No idea!", he gets all thing and says that I should be thinking about stuff like that!! Yeah right.

I have pretty much tried everything once. I am like Glen. I will eat something even if I don't like it. I don't HATE anything. Just would prefer something over it. I bet I have eaten some pretty weird things by all of your standards. It's the Asian in me.

Weirdest stuff I have eaten was traditional Chinese food at my friend's parents' restaurant for Chinese new year.

Sea cucumber is OK. I get exposed to a lot of "interesting" "foods" through my wife. Some, I don't like at all.

I love hot and sour soup. It has cloud ear fungus in it. Yummy.

My wife likes a veggie called "bitter melon." She also likes 1000 year old eggs. Both make me want to gak.

The couple that used to live across the street from my old house invited me to their restaurant. They were from mainland China. I could understand about 1/2 of what they said. I grew up in Hawaii and was used to Chinese food. They had no forks and a big selection. I just ate what they brought out. I have no idea what it was. I was the only white person there. No one was speaking English.
