try finding decent reloading powder. i finally found a guy selling four pounds of BLC(2) (my favorite, it works with both the .308 and .223) for $20/lb. i am buying all four pounds. that should keep me busy. now, if i could only find some .224 projectiles in the 62 - 69 grain range, i'd be even more stoked!

Just a gut feeling but orders like 4k rounds of ammo has to throw a flag up to someone. Just glad I got my 556 built up before the poo hit the fan

My poor old girl was almost a basket case. PP have done well from me (to the point that I really don't want to add up the bills).

They are gunna eventually get some more - I'm having a little break from spending unless I have to.

talked to the wife about moving plans and logistics. i think we have a tentative plan to get started. instead of selling the house, i think we'll rent it and i may do a travel stint prior to moving all of us to a new city. the main thing we'll be giving up is the support system of my in-laws. i am a bit concerned about that.
