I am so sorry I am laughing at your post but that was so funny. The way you say things sometimes, Jeff! Hilarious!

That may be more effective but I don't think I'll give it a go.

I ran the 944 up yesterday arvo, gee it was good to here her run again. She was boxed in by the 4x4 so we didn't go for a spin. It was really just to give the battery a boost as shes been sitting for a couple of months. kicked on over nice and quick.

The aircon doesn't work too well so she doesn't get run in the summer too often. I'm really hanging for some cooler weather. The forecast for next weekend is around 33C, hopefully then we can have a play.

School is out again tomorrow. Humph. Maybe if I take the kid to work he won't become an engineer when he grows up.

awesome! ... We are right by a substation so we don't lose power often and if we do its for a very short period of time. We had a few flickers today but, luckily that was it.

Five days days at home with my Midget who has had the "Man Flu" is plenty, I need some alone time!!! lol

Center is Main and Broadway. Each block has 100 numbers. Even numbers on South and East sides of street.

Technically my house is 134 blocks from Main Street and 2 means it's on the East side of the street facing West.

Glen is probably better versed than I on OKC streets as he kinda ties all that stuff down to survey markers with all that mapping accuracy technology.

Evening Y'all.
That was a fun eleven hours. Yes I yanked the inverter out of Peggy, hooked it up in Lanna and used it to power the boiler. I had heat and hot water (being on "city water" I always have it then the power goes out). Cooked beef stew on the Coleman stove and had warm tea. We set off some of the left over fireworks once it got good and dark.

back in Oz for the Queens birthday we usually have a HUGE MF Bonfire out at the farm, so big we use mature tree trunks, drag them up with the tractor, get the forklift place a passat or golf on top, we have a friend who is a pyrotechnician come and do event style fireworks, so cool, the ritual car burning, we do it every year. Just lock the gate so the local cops can't get in to see which farm the fireworks are coming from, and give the local volunteer fire brigade a heads up so they don't get worried.

Fire up the pizza oven and have a great night cooking and eating and drinking, Its a great weekend.
