It is 75 degrees outside and we are under a winter storm advisory. 28 degrees in the morning.

Yep, and it usually goes straight to Ricks house after it is done with us.

I have been having dreams about driving the 44 and today I had a panic when I went to order my conversion kit to find they don't sell it for the lt1 anymore. I say around freaking out and hubby did the logical rational thing and called them to find that they don't sell it as a kit anymore but, you can still buy all the pieces for the same price individually.

So ya only dreams for the next month and a half.

On my way home I discovered all the new spring squids (stupid newb riders)have come out to play. Greattt

Yanno this my be blasphemy, but I really can't care less about bacon. It is ok on a breakfast plate but I prefer sausage. It is ok on a burger, but a good burger does not need it. It is good on a club sandwich.

I am so ready for spring. I want to leave my coat at the dry cleaners and then put it away for the year.

Is fire and brimstone next? Good grief that is crazy weather!

I went on a short tour of a local business with some other SAE members. The place is a small shop owned by a Cal Poly grad. They do air suspension conversions but make custom control systems that can make the spring rate linear, progressive, or whatever they want basically. Plus the height adjustment. Most customers sound like they do it just for looks but there are some nice performance benefits as far as having the spring rate be very progressive like an off road suspension. And you could lower the car for the track but raise it for the drive home or to get into your driveway.

I had to leave early as I had a class at noon. I was just going to skip it (the earthquakes class) but turned out a girl who went on the tour had a Mechanical Vibrations lab at noon so I graciously offered to take her back. She is quite pretty. Unfortunately, she has a boyfriend already- one of the other shop techs. On the way back we stopped on a hill and when the light turned green I reached down for the handbrake and jabbed for the clutch pedal but had to stop myself as it was the econobox Ford with the slushbox. That got us talking about manual transmissions and left foot vs. right foot braking, double clutching, etc. She always drives manuals. She would be hot anyway, but that just made her a 10.

You will discover all pretty girls have a boyfriend. Many boyfriends are just place holders to keep the rif-raf away.
