On phones, I worked in one project for 9 years, was the building go to person and Project Business and Contract Manager, and as I lived close by, my phone number was the one all emergency, cleaners, security, Police, contractors, and workers used to contact Defence with anything to do with the building. The security alarm was always going off, and the building was up to Secret, so it had to be attended if the alarm went off. Another reason why I looked after it because I was the closest. Anyway, when I left the Project they wanted the phone and the phone number handed over, well it was my phone and my phone number so I had to tell them to bugger off, go change everything, all the building related documents and emergency plans, your not getting my number. They had never realised that the number was mine, and me being a minion compared to some of the high ranking twats that worked there, I was not deemed suitably ranked to be given a work phone, only for "special" people.

Was very satisfying after years of battling to get a work phone, to tell them to puck off!

Someone wants to grab my personal phone, regardless of what is on it, they better have a warrant or they will be pulling back a nub.
Even with a warrant they are going to get a wiped phone with no sim or sd card. I have nothing to hide but I also don't approve of invasion of what little privacy we have left.

ahh you poor people who do not deal with lawyers.......its will be ordered thru the court system so it will have a warrant. Hand them a wiped phone get slapped with obstruction charge.

Better to just tell them to pound sand from the get go.

great minds think alike. You pay the bill on the phone you can have it. You don't forget it.
Well, obviously, like
I said it'd meet a horrible date before fate before I'd ever willingly hand it over.

I don't even care if they pay the bill, it's my phone and my contract with the provider my theirs.

Honestly though, worrying about my company getting sued and some lawyers demanding my phone is paranoia and likely never to happen.

This is starting to sound like PARF. Ill worry about it when it never happens, until then it's a fantastic way to be able to stay in touch with work in y personal device with all my stuff on it, not the other way around.

If lawyers get a warrant it doesn't matter who pays the bill.

Heya Max, I though you are into to covered feet. I've got a short attention span anyway, elbows are the topic of interest now.

I've got one phone only, it's supplied. I'm on call/recall and they pay penalty rates from the time of the call till I'm done. They don't like paying penalty rates. I don't get called too often.

G'day everyone.

The weather forecast was just on. It was in the 80s today. They are saying we may get yet another winter storm on Wednesday. Rick it should get to you by the weekend!
