Morning y'all.

Day 2 of constant drizzle. The ground is looking very water logged, another day of this and we may see a river run (woohoo). Except the chances of that are slim - it's supposed to be clearing today and sunny (and humid) tomorrow.

I'm stuffed then

It is actually a local saying.

But then there's another...You're not a local 'til you've been here 25 years.

I'm confused!

I AM TIRED!!!

We got up early, when down to my dads house and filled up three BIG trash cans, the roll around big carts. We came back home and I hauls the concrete lady ( aka the fountain) out and got that hooked up. The hose is so old and beat up I had to get boiling water And soak the new rubber hose and cram it over the old hose and put on a clamp. That is fun while holding a heavy fountain and using boiling water.

Then I got my 911 manifold totally taken apart and cleaned. Next is reassembly. Then I edged, trimmed, mowed, fertilized and cleaned up. I am tired. But I think I mentioned that.

I love that fountain, Glen! My boys have asked me over and over for a fountain in our yard. I think they would think its cool for the first two weeks and then the novelty would wear off like everything else. We already have the waterfall in the pool.

In a few more weeks that fountain will be surrounded by plants. We have had the strangest spring ever. I have a lot of holes to dig as yet.
