Phew. Li am tired. A day of garage work is tough on a geezer. It sure was fun and I got a lot done.

Tomorrow the storms should be back. More of the same.

Weight and overall airfoil space are close for the stuff I have and the 98" wingspan kit I'm looking at......and it appears sturdy enough to handle a nitro engine......just have to modify the exhaust and do a little hacking on the cowling............98" friggin inches.........I'm thinking fly it over the golf course and watch the petrified reactions......if our government is gonna be out of control, I might as well have some fun with it

Janet... We have three piles that are that big or bigger... We will conglomerate them and make one big ass fire and get the local volunteer fire dept to come for backups...

Quarter to knock off and I don't want to start anything new.

Jeff! I am doing just fine! Had a great weekend snowboarding, up late preparing for a business meeting tomorrow, and then a great concert tomorrow night with a good friend I have known for over 14 years.

How are you today, my Aussie friend?

Hi Tweeze.

It looked like you had fun, I don't know when I'll snowboard again. I'm rather envious.

I'm very busy at work at the moment and I'll be glad when it quiets down. Other than that not much is happening, just cruising along really.

It's finally got cool enough to get out in the garden and tidy things up, so stuff around the house is filling my weekends - they seem to disappear too quickly.

Also starting to get stuff organised for our next big walk-about Cradle Mountain Huts: Walk The Overland Track, Tasmania . The 4x4 is all prepped ready to go (to get us there), so that's one thing out of the way. We now have to orgainse/book the tour. We also need to get our 50l packs and fill them with hiking stuff. We've started getting our light weight clothing, and we'll get some more stuff when we go south in a couple of months. A good thing with the tour is we don't need to worry about bedding, food (unless you want trail snacks) or water (get that along the trail). We will need a tent/shelter and warm clothing in case we get stranded by bad weather, but 50l packs should be enough.

We'll also need to do a few walks with our full packs so we get used to them beforehand, so I'll have to get them soon.

What concert are you off to see?

If you are doing a predator stye plane then electric is for low noise. Nitro is noisy. A nitro engine shouldn't put any more stress on the airframe than electric, thrust is thrust. Not sure if gas or electric is heavier any more with the new lighter lithium batteries. Back in the day batteries were heavy. In most of the online videos I see of larger electric planes they fly like they look heavy to me.

Still hurtin and seems to be bleeding a lot. Go see the doc tomorrow.

Wasn't as brave as Glen. My house doesn't have a good fraidy hole spot. When it looked like it was going to be within a couple of miles of my house, I bugged out and went to go pick up some dinner in a direction perpendicular to the storm path. Left 10 minutes ahead of the storm and got back after it had passed.

A niece and her family live 2 miles north of here where the tarnaidy touched down. Her neighbor across the street north of her lost part of their roof, her house was untouched. i imagine they will be installing a fraidy hole.

Jeez, that foot's been quite an affair. I hope the doc sorts it out quick.

I don't blame you for bolting, I think I'd do the same with twister things you guys get. I still surprised we don't get anything like that out here. Glad, but surprised.

Way too long. The surgeon should have sent me to a wound care specialist when i started getting bacterial infections from too much antibiotics and it stopped progressing around Christmas. Current prognosis is 5 weeks to Porsche driving.

Woohoo! Organised my neighbor to do the rego check on the 944 this Wednesday morning.

I like the neighbor doing the rego check, he does it real cheap - we get to look after his pup when they go on holidays.

Morning, Rick. I'd love to do without Mondays.

I had hoped that I'd be able to tell you all about my epic Powerball win, but it looks like I have to keep w***ing for the next 2 or so years. On top of that, my allergies are kicking my butt, and I still have to successfully resolve the problem with the 2nd bathroom shower. Other than that, I'm stupendous.

Having local Porsche shop pick up the 928, change the fluids, and go over it with a fine tooth comb so it will be ready for me. It's been just sitting for 10 months, that can't be good.
