We had a nice breakfast with Rick & Beth. Hugs & handshakes, too, so you're covered, Azzy.

A few sprinkles here and there. Hopefully it won't put a damper on Rick & Beth's weekend.

We're sitting around at a tire store while they check out a tire that wasn't holding pressure very well. PIA, but that's life.

Yep. We apparently picked up a nail in the tire. We're all set and back home.

Can I just say that when driving through a big city for the first time with a trailer, construction is the last thing you want to see!!!

Evening Y'all
Had a great day, starting out with breakfast with Jim and Lu, it was great to see you guys again.
We hopped the metro and went to Arlington, words just can not describe that place. I am sure everybody takes what they want from there, and there is no way to describe the feeling. We saw the changing of the guard and two wreathes being laid.. Aside from the pomp and circumstance it just brings to light in a sobering manner just what was spent for me to have what I do. I always knew it and never took it for granted but it was just cemented home in a way I can't describe.
I had to leave, I was getting pissed off at some of the disrespectful people who were showing their upbringing. The tomb guard actually barked at one person who needed to be whipped. I wanted to oblige him.
We went and walked the lawn and we couldn't have asked for better weather, not too hot but warm enough for the shorts to be short and the skirts to be even shorter.

Steve went to Auschwitz one time and it was deathly quiet, until a bus load of school kids showed up and were doing the usual teenage goofing off and laughing and joking around the place, he just felt like going over and giving their teacher a word and the kids an earful, but thought that was too disrespectful as well, so he just kept away from them, but sometimes I definitely wonder how some people were raised!!

Rick, I know the feeling. I felt the same way at the Arizona memorial in Pearl Harbor. A large group if Japanese tourists laughing and cutting up. I wanted to go tell them off in the worst way. It made me want to go to the Hiroshima memorial and cheer USA USA while that same group was watching.
