I worked with a lady that was 4' 8 inches. Her nickname was the Hobbit. Actually I have to stop and think was her real name is, everyone called her Hobbit, even her family.

4'8" is pretty short. I think my wife is down an inch or two, but not that short. I do like her short though. She is just right for me.

She really hates shrt jokes though. Would probably shoot anyone who called her "Hobbit"...except she would noit know what that was.

Just got done shooting some paint on the fender flares for Todd's Turbo.... MMMMMMM automotive paint fumes...

Shame the guys at the paint store gave us "snow white" paint that is kinda cream colored... Definitely going to have to give it another try...

I've been around paint fumes all my life... Never get headaches from automotive or industrial paint. But I always spray where its well ventilated. If I was doing a whole car I would grab a respirator, but for just a few fender flares....

Having grown up around my dad and uncle who both ran body shops in their younger days, I don't get too bothered about paint. Like I said, if its a large job I will bust out the respirator, but for something small, just make sure you are in a well ventilated area, and it doesn't bother me.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!

Got some excitement, but don't want to jinx myself. Elicia and I are going to be looking at a house. Fingers crossed that everything goes well.

Good morning folks.

Me and my big mouth. Many people know I upgraded the AC in my 911 long ago and I know a little about automotive AC systems. Anytime someone asks for my help I tell them I only do R-12 systems and I didn't want to contaminate my equipment with 134a. That gets rid of them. Except a friend in the Porsche club has a old air cooled 911 that has never been converted to 134a. He is coming over tonight so I can help him with a little AC work. I guess that is what friends are for.

You are still in luck as both of my vehicles are 134a from the factory.

The 928 blows so cold that it makes fog if there is any humidity. If the ducts were any longer it would make snow!

That is because you have "new" cars. Up to about 1993 it was R-12.
