I am watching the Top Gear Sydney episode, and who ever thought that the Reliant Robin was a good idea was an idiot, fair dinkum!

Stijn!!

Spent all day giving a tour of one of my accounts to a sales manager from New Zealand. Her territory is Australia. I told her if she ever needs clinical help... Thought about you the whole time, Jeff.

Funny you say that, Sidney. In fact we did! I told her about couch surfing (the organization) and she told me how her daughter took a trip around the world using the same principle... Staying on friends and family's places. We will get to New Zealand, don't worry about that!

I love thunderstorms at night, but not during the day. It can rain all it wants during the night.

I've only got half of one of those blocks. The glass would keep sliding off.

Mine is still doing very well right where it is thank you very much...

And aren't ALL the Current Porsche models water cooled, the official reason being air cooling had reached it's hp limits and to make more power they needed to add water cooling.

ha ha ha. Evening Jeff, Richard.

Rick.

Got a Drs appointment this morning, just a general check up. Managed to get an earlier appointment, the original one, first vacancy they had was 4 Dec, but they phoned yesterday to tell me that they had a cancellation today, it has only taken 2 months to get a cancellation.

She is a popular doctor apparently!!

Good morning folks.

Richard one big reason Porsche went to water cooling is the noise factor. The water cooling helps quiet an engine. Germany & most of Europe was moving to tighter noise standards. Porsche would have had to add a lot of sound deaden mats to meet the sound restrictions. Adding dead weight to the rear of a 911 is never an ideal solution.

Water cooling makes for a inherently quieter engine. One reason I love the whirr of a air cooled 911 engine. I don't like real loud mufflers because I can't hear the spinning cam chains and those overhead cams. Actually I guess they are beside the heads, not over them but twin both-side cams sounds strange.

Water-cooling allowed higher technology and ultimately more power as well.
