No one get a AMS logo on screen. I have never seen one. Someone has to write the forecast. This way each person writes their own forecast. And they know what a wall cloud is, not just words on the Teleprompter.

My dad watches WGN to see the weather in Illinois sometimes. They spend a whole lot longer explaining the weather back there than they do here. Here it is like 30 seconds with a 10 day forecast of sunny with the hi/low temps. There they go into radar and wave their hands on the map and explain what is going on and they have a lot more variations on the weather icons for clouds, thunderstorms, etc. (snow!). It lasts like 10 minutes and it feels like you learned something.

It is easy being a weather person here. We have no weather. So I am fine with the bimbos.

Not to lessen your work but you are already starting with a G50 car. The focus of our discussion is on a 915 car. There are many many more issues

I personally don't car for the US-spec G50 6-speed. I guess I'm weird.

I looked at your thread. Wow, great work. You are putting a 6 spped G-50 in a 89 Carrera. That is a lot different than a car with a 915.

Good luck with that project of yours.

Morning ladies and gents.

Feeling dirty - Just been rooted up the bum by a MacBook. That bloody OS X is nearly as bad as windoz8.

There are some extra issues as I already had the G50 pedal cluster, shifter mechanism and the lines for clutch actuation were already there....that does make it easier....

My macbook was locking up and auto-restarting. Was doing it more and more often. Finally got tired of it and took it in. A test they ran found it had a known problem with the Nvida video chip. They replaced the Logic board and I was back in business without any problems the next day, it was a free fix.

I had to google the distances.

Monterrey is 1,577 miles.

Franck Lick is only 728 miles

And Jay Peak VT 1,660 miles

I have 150,000 miles on the Carrera now. It is almost broken in now so it will broken in by 2016.

Sidney is already trying to talk me into going next year to Monterey. I love that area. So pretty. I think Sidney has won.
