Just because they're out to get you doesn't mean you're paranoid.

Bite the head off a chicken.

Just after college used to go play pool with a younger nephew at a place called Cactus Jacks. It was a huge pool hall and hang out for 16-21 yo. About the only music they played at Cactus Jack's was Black Sabbath.

Good Morning folks.

Hump day again!

The weather forecast last night has a strong possibility of severe weather on Friday afternoon. 3 days notice should be enough but I am sure many clueless folks will be out and about and surprised.

I guess, I will have to let the forces of nature name her...lol.

So my dad is buying my brothers 78 924, which used to be my first P-car. I am excited, my father has worked so hard in life and deserves a fun little car to tool around in. He is already getting the sickness and talking to me about changing this, changing that and what I think about those...lol. I told him to just enjoy it right now until we get his 55 Chevy Bel-Air done, which is his current project car.

I did do about 90% restoration on the 924 back to original. The owner before me was a hack and really messed the car up. The nicest assets about it are an 80,000 mile drive train and a ZERO rust body. It used to be a west coast car. It will be another awesome father/son project. I would say the warm-up regulator on the CIS needs refurbished and it should run awesome for him until he starts the transformation. I think he wants to aim towards the 924 Carrera GTS to stay period correct and in the 924 family with upgrades.

We get phone calls and email all the time from companies in India that want to do the mapping work for us. We always tell them to go away, don't call us anymore. We prefer to keep out own people employed.

I received this email today from yet another company.

"Give us a single opportunity; we will prove that we will be worthy.
We look forward for the execution of your pilot at the earliest.
Your response will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance."

We really like our pilot, we don't want to execute him.

no, the inline 4 with a turbo. There will most likely be upgrades to the fuel system from CIS to EFI, but a porsche motor will be in there (or i guess these were Audi motors...haha).

I'm just sayin, that if you don't want to say it on the phone, that you shouldn't say it here even by PM...

I understand that Sid. All I am saying is there is a whole lot more to this from my phone call and PM's than is posted here or in pm.
Trust me I am not stupid, I know what is up.

Leaving Reno today. I kinda love this area. Kinda sleepy. Not a huge city but offers enough. And Tahoe is only a 40 minute drive away. Living is not too expensive.

This month is crazy for work travel. I booked six legs of flights (lots of one ways) and four different hotel stays for a time period of two weeks. They told me it would slow down closer to the holidays but it doesn't seem that way.

And I still have a week of vacation time to burn before December.
