Ok, taking another look at these pictures, I think I will stick with Sidney. Sidney has the cute Southern accent.

Eh... Money doesn't do it for me. If you make enough to pay your bills, I'm good.

Drive, Blue Valentine, The notebook, crazy stupid love, Remember the Titans, murder by numbers.

Most of the really successful ones are chick flicks.

Have fun at the breakfast. Tell the fellas I said hi. Wonder if Sidney is going.

well, I got all the plastics and the tank truck bed lined.....plastics were easy, the tank was a minor PITA......but nowhere near doing a decent paint job.....

I'll get it all back together tomorrow then I'm just waiting on some fresh filters and my headers to be finished....

Anyone have any experience with ecu tuners for bikes? I'm split between Power Commander and Dobeck....wouldn't be doing a dyno tune so just a rough guess tune.....I don't have a PC, just Macs, so that's a strike against Power Commander and the Dobeck modules can be had for 2/3 the cost...their downfall is that they aren't as precise a tool as Power Commander, but I'm thinking that will be fine for my needs.....I'm not going all out on the 750 just a much more free flowing exhaust and airbox mod....no cam/head mods or higher comp pistons....

I use VMware Fusion to run the pc tuner software for my 928 on my Mac laptop. My 928 has programable chips to better tune for the hotter cams and x-pipe exhaust.

Yeah, that's the route I'd go if i went power commander.....just not sure the power commander is really worth the additional cost and hassle for my needs.

The Programable chips are only $100. The box that interfaces with them and the tuning software, called SharkTuner, is $900. And the wideband O2 sensor so I could see what was going on was $138. It'a a good setup. You turn off and zero out the ECU's learning map and closed loop adjustment, then drive around data logging. Then you upload the data logs into a diagnostic plotter app and it edits the maps for you to match target fuel ratio and ignition timing (uses the knock counter to add/remove timing. Then you upload the new maps to the ECU and re-enable the learning maps and closed loop mode. You can run a 928 without monkeying with the fuel and timing maps because of it's closed loop learning stuff, but the less the car has to adjust on the fly from the basic maps, the better it can adjust for things like gas quality, temps, and humidity. Even a stock car runs a bit better with custom set maps than the stock one map for all conservative average.

The Dallas 928 guys got together and bought chips for each of their cars and share the tuner and software between them to save monies. Idealy, once you get it tuned up, you don't need to mess with it unless you change something.
