Yeah, I wouldn't say no to a truly well spec'd AR10.....but I'd really rather have a nice basic bolt action .338 with a good scope.....god that round has power!

My next is going to be a Barrett 98B in 338LM. I almost had the 6K for it when I got laid off and had to use the money to live

I mean seriously....... 4500-5000lbs/ft of knock down is insane! Through five layers of armor for a kill shot at 1km?!?

I would buy a shorter tube based on the picture. I am not a fan of having the end of my barrel, covered at all. and not really into hacking the ends of things off to make them fit

Back from the PCA dinner.

This is one of the many views out the windows.

I got to sit next to Sid for dinner. It was a great dinner for an old geezer like me. I got to see some other old timers of the club.

When I did the sunroof cables on the 73E, the replacement cables were 964 parts. Thicker than the original equipment on my 73E and a bugger to install.

Shifter bushings in the 911 - done! Not too difficult, but needed to cut an allen key to fit the tunnel to get a set screw out.

It was a good dinner Glen! I'm glad the board decided to move it. Very cool location.

Morning Y'all. I woke up to the sounds of sleet/ice, it has been coming in waves, we are in a lull right now but it could be an interesting day for someone, just not me

My engine is starting to look like an engine again not just a pile of parts.

Purdy studs.

Well Murphy got loose last night. Car all loaded to go battery is dead. Get to gig bass rig rolling along stage wheel snaps off. Now I have to figure out how to get the car jumped while its stuck in the garage.

What? Not all the studs are in there yet when the picture was taken. Is that what you mean?

It's a mechanic joke usually reserved for a block with no head on it. E.G. low compression

A battery charger will usually get the job done
