It took longer than normal to get home from work today. One guy came over and started asking about my Elky. He said he had several in the past but hated the carburetor or the way it ran with a carb. He asked if they ever came with fuel injection. Only the 6 cylinder versions had FI from Chevy. I replaced my carb years ago and put on the FI. He finally left and seconds later a old time friend approached. That was a fun conversation as well.

well, i went at the hell hole with several wire wheels and some por15. i am glad i did. the rubber 'sealant' peeled right off like a bandaid. it would have just held the water in place while it rusted my battery pan right through.

The bonehead arsehole in payroll/HR may just get that pencil stuck in the middle of their forehead if they don't get my pay right next week.

Next week my a55.
I was shorted on my pay once.........................................once. I start quoting labor laws and fines and penalties and they paid me right then and there.
One of the three things that will get you hurt is messing with my money

I was supposed to get a pay rise last pay - just means that eventually I'll get back pay. I thought it was a little rude it didn't happen, it's not like they were given no notice.

At the moment I'm playing nice, they've got a few thousand employees to mess with each month.

If it doesn't happen next week they'll get a rocket (that looks a lot like my pencil)up 'em.

POR15 is good stuff. I prettied my fuel tank up with it a couple of years ago.

A good hot curry. Nothing works better than it being a bit wet.

I always found a big meal of 7-11 tacos to be suitable fuel for this kind of mission

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!

I am glad I didn't have cabbage, curry, or tacos for dinner.

We had home made chicken snitzels, very very yummy, a touch of Parmesan in the breadcrumbs, couscous with pulp tomatoes and tossed greek type salad, that's my dinner. No repercussions tomorrow for me.

Glen that sure is looking very pretty, and expensive if yo had to pay someone to do all that machining.
