Merry Christmas Tweeze and the rest.

We have a easy 1/2 day. If you consider 11:00 AM half the day. Mostly I came in to get the scanner started on another job and get some free coffee. It will take the scanner 3.5 days to scan it all. It will make a few hundred gigs of files. I will VNC and check on it occasionally for the next few days so I will be working on Christmas!

Of course from my phone a few taps and I can see the scan progress and be done in 20 seconds max. It is a tough job but someone has to do it.

That's me.

Now I have to decide if I am bored enough to go ahead and print up some 16x20s for a client. He ordered the prints be said he would not be in until next year. I may just get them ready to print and want until after the 1st to hit the print button. The prints have no chance of getting bent or scratched if I have not yet made them.

Went out to dinner with some friends last night. It was an Italian place that also did glass blowing. You could watch em making stuff while you ate a scrumptious italian dinner.

The guy explained you just blow a little air in and put your thumb over the end of the pipe, the air heats up and expands making a bubble in the glass blob on the other end of the pole. Then he showed us. When the bubble appeared in my best redneck voice I exclaimed, "That blowed up real good!" He about lost it.

Evidently they sell a lot of those psychedelic colored vases and bowls with the ruffledy edges.

It was getting down to the wire, but I got my artsy fartsy in for the year.

This is a picture my wife shot yesterday in our backyard. It is the Nandina plant all covered in ice, then yesterday we had frozen fog so we had hoar-frost on the ice.

Here is a close up.

I have the full resolution sharp pics I will make a print of. I think it is cool.

The print came out great. I took it a couple of blocks away to a company to mount it and all the folks that work back there loved it as well.

Great picture. No white Christmas here. Out of here at noon, must go home and prep for the family to show up.
