Heard the game got canceled and moved again this month, and it's an extra $25 at the door. Limit 9 "playas"

Didn't go last time either. Kinda glad from the pics I was texted and what I heard about it.

If they have the same agenda, I'm not interested, not that I was invited anyway.

I'll drive out whatever you want me to. Always the same deal: no cost to the owner of the car. You need anything stored, same, same.

I enjoy the drive, live for it. Which one is Peggy?

Use Peggy to haul the other cars on/in a trailer with the cars and trailer full of stuff.

Drove the moving truck hauling a car on a trailer following my sister from Harlingen TX to Rolla MO. She paid my airfare to fly in from OKC to Harlingen to drive. Had some Mexicans help pack and was all packed up when I got there. You couldn't fit a tooth pick more in the moving van or car on the trailer, or the mini van. There was even stuff packed in the cab of the moving truck with me. We had to drive 50 miles to pick up the rental car hauler trailer. After got the car on the trailer we had move stuff from the passenger seat of the mini van to the driver's seat of the car being hauled. Don't know if they gave away or sold anything, but there was not a spec of dust left in their house in Harlingen.

We drove straight through and I immediately went to bed on arrival in Rolla. Think my Sis and bro-in-law took turns sleeping. When I woke four hours later sister and friends had the moving truck completely unloaded. Don't know if there were any stowaways or not. lol Had to immediately drive the moving truck and trailer to Springfield MO to turn em back in. Sister got a good enough deal that made it worth using the truck and hauler to take her mini van to Springfield MO instead of Rolla. From Springfield drive the mini Van to take me home to OKC. They stayed a couple of days then drove back to Rolla to set up housekeeping.

I would say my sister is quite the planner. When she came to visit Mom and Dad when I was younger and living at home, she would send a list of things that I had to do to get stuff ready for the projects she was going to do when she got there.

Paul that is on you, I figured you could enjoy some top down driving around your place and just head west when you feel like it. I am going to renew the tags for two years so you will have plenty of time. Peggy is the fuel hogging old Dodge 4X4 Willie is the Boxster

Ya up to speed now?

Sold two vacant lots in town adjacent to my parents home with the home. Made the home sell go really quick. There was a big garden area and a fruit tree orchard on the lots. All the fruit trees are gone and the two lots now have Habitat for Humanities homes built on them. We looked into donating the lots for a tax break but it was better to just sell them with the home and use them as an enticement for the potential buyer.

Good luck with your sale. Break a tree limb?

That is what I was hoping to do Richard and I still have the lot listed with the house but I also have a separate listing for the lot so I can sell them together or split them up. The split will put more money in my pocket, and potentially get me out of here faster.

Helped a bunch that the vacant lots were urban and in a well established neighborhood. The buyer was a country boy moving to the big city right out of college for his job, he and his dad was thrilled to get more land.

Drove by this past summer and it looked like most of the neighbors that were there 50 years ago when I was growing up are still there. Including an old lady that still has the bronze 57 Chevy her and her husband bought new. She was older than my mom when we moved. She's got to be over a hundred now and evidently still drives it. It was sitting the the driveway looking fresh off the showroom floor like it always did when they didn't have it parked in the garage.

Golly what fun it had today.

We had two old bushes that we planted 15 years ago. That got large and Mrs Carrera decided they needed to go. Two huge bushes gone. Of course one of the bushes was right on top of the water sprinkler line. That meant to get the roots out the PVC pipe was destroyed. It is astonishing how brittle the pipe has become. I had to dig a 4 foot wide trench to get back far enough to get good pipe. Of course that means I have two stubs that will not move that I need to hook together and replace one head at the same time. It was a real pain to get it put together since there was no real wiggle room. I would never have done it like that if it needed to old real pressure. Since it is a water sprinkler if there is a minor leak it just waters that too. I feel sure it will not leak. Golly that was fun.

My "hood" was developed in the early 40's and has the feel of wanting to put your feet up here. There are only three vacant lots left here out of twenty. I am also in the town limits of Scottsville so that can work both ways, among the amenities like the utilities comes the restrictions like cloven animals and shooting restrictions.

The last time I had to yank out a few shrubs I used a chain and Peggy then just filled the holes back in. Gardening is easy.

Yea, that would be easy for a standard shrub. The big one was a snowball bush. Think bamboo crossed with a banyan tree. Hundreds of individual stems spread over 5 square feet. The roots are anchored into pure clay. It will make you giggle like a school girl trying to dig through it. Assuming that school girl cusses like a sailor.
