i did get to watch a guy bag a moose, while i was grouse hunting, actually helped him track it. he was 32 and had been putting in for a tag for 18 years. he showed us his GPS, which showed he had walked over 200 miles in the course of three weeks, looking for the bull moose he wanted.

Have no desire to watch it. All for hunting and understand wildlife conservation and overpopulation, but sounds like killing for no good reason. But hey, for all I know that may have been a rouge bull that had been wreaking havoc on the snowmobile community killing and maiming the womens and childrens and pooping on peoples patios.

The most aggressive thing we have to worry about in my neighborhood are the dog walkers. Oh yeah, and the freakin yellow jacket wasps in August. I'm in for killing off ALL those stinging bass turds. The wasps not the dog walkers.

I agree.

The party is going great. Nap time now.

Reminds me of that poor unfortunate turtle. Was driving on a 4 lane road here in Edmond. In the far left on-coming lane a lady had stopped, was out of her car and walking towards a huge turtle about the size of a pie plate in front of her SUV. As I approached she was bending to pick up the turtle. Just as she grabbed it I honked my horn. The lady jumped, standing straight up and launching the turtle about 75 ft off to the side of the road. Was in traffic so didn't get to see the aftermath, but laughed for 30 minutes. Still tickles me. That poor turtle.

i've seen several unfortunate turtles in my travels.

my father stopped the car in a torrential downpour in kentucky. i was about four. he gets out, dashes across the road, in traffic and about two inches of standing water, runs back with something in his hands, which looks suspiciously like a very large turtle. opens the trunk, closes the trunk, and hops back into the car.

we lived for three days with an enormous snapping turtle in the tub. alive. and angry. my mother finally put her foot down and the turtle was released into the stream by our apartment building.

Okay we rearranged our schedule and blew off a lunch with a whole bunch of beautiful women to drive over into the valley tomorrow and we are going to do some shooting.

Just learned the 928 breakfast had a surprise guest. One of the Porsche factory drivers that drove a factory sponsored 928 in the 24 hours of Daytona in 1984.

Shooting in the valley...fun, don't forget your protection. Might want to take a few moose loads in case you are attacked.

Took the Lotus out for some fun and finally got pulled over.....and let go with a warning....the cop was a little bewildered because he wasn't able to get a solid speed reading, he just 'knew' I was speeding...

The benefit of an incredibly small car made of fiberglass...

Since I've been driving Porsches I've been pulled over 18 or 20 times now, so many I've lost count. 1 ticket. Never got pulled over in the Boxster. Only got pulled over in the 928 once, and that was because I did a burn out in front of a cop. Didn't get a ticket though.

Pays to be friendly yet never admit to doing anything wrong. If you can't think of anything to say without admitting to or outright denying doing anything wrong just don't say anything and wait for him to say something else. Remember they may have a camera and mic on you.

Back from the party, rested and happy. We left Enid and it was 30 degrees and light drizzle. My car had some ice build up on it. As we drove south it started warming up. As soon as it it 33 the ice started coming off. It was 41 when we got home. No ice left.

The storm Sid is enjoying on the left coast is coming here tonight. That sucker must be hauling butt. 1500 miles faster than I can drive it. We will be happy to send it on to Pete.
