Not sure why, but this is a factory option...

And if you really need the cargo room in the X5...

I saw several 997 911s at Parade with that type of roof mounted carrier for luggage. One guy said they are rated for 80 or something but he did up into the triple digits with no problem.

Wouldn't want to be anywhere near a piece of luggage set free at triple digits.

Bike racks remind me of...

Before driving age me and a friend rode our 10 speed racers everywhere. That summer his dad put a bike rack on the rear bumper of his Electra 225 and took us and the bikes to spend 2 weeks at my grandmothers, then then we went for another 2 weeks vacationing with his family, bikes included.

My grandmother lived in Pryor and we rode our bikes all over that town, and made day trips for lunch to the small towns near there. On the family vacation part we rode all around Shangri La on Grand Lake and then Buena Vista resort town in Arkansas. Lots of big hills in Arkansas.

When at Shangri La resort his Dad took us two boys with him to check out a house we were suppose to move us and another family into for the week instead of the ritzy hotel rooms. A few minutes after we walked in a chick walked out onto the balcony above us in the living room asking what we were doing there. She must have been in the shower, all of her hair was wet and she was holding a towel, but not covering anything up with it. His Dad asked the same thing as he had the keys to the place. He apologized and showed us goggly eyed tongue hanging out teenage boys outta there. It was one of the greatest vacations ever! At least for a 14 yo. We got to see a real live naked woman.

Crap.

Yesterday when I called the freight company the lady said my package had a "must deliver" sticker on it. I guess it did not say "must deliver anytime soon" sticker on it.

Today when I called I get the old, "it did not make the truck" line. So now maybe tomorrow it can get on a truck but that is just a maybe. "for sure" Thursday. I told her Thursday is the very last day I will accept it. After that I am canceling the entire order with the manufacturer and they will get to ship it back to California on their dime. I will order another one and have it shipped by a shipper that can actually deliver a package.

Glen, you have a lot more patience than I would have with the freight company. Good luck.

I figure if I pull the plug on them I will be set back a week at best. I made it clear today that Thursday is the drop dead deadline. I will call tomorrow when they don't deliver and make it clear again that Thursday is the last chance. The can just return to sender after that. My credit card will refund my money.

I think even Jarrod would have delivered it by now.

Maybe Roy from the show has it, understand he died from a heart attack recently, maybe the box is still in his trailer.

As hot as anything in my magazine stash. And it was 1974 so you could tell she was a natural brunette.

fkiing ipad. I was trying to bid on a set of OEM fairings for one of the Ducs. They're obviously NLA. A very clean set came up for auction on ebay, and the stupid ipad jammed up so I couldn't bid. A bit painful when you see that it sold for a lot less than what you would have paid. Grrr. ipad's a toy, and I must admit that I regret buying it.

Last minute bidding should always be done via esnipe for just that reason. I've had computers hang up too.

Evening Y'all.
Someone please remind me to scorch the earth here when I leave on friday. Tailgating is the norm and I don't mean like a little I mean like it the car skips a beat I am gonna get hit. I yanked the parking brake this morning on some woman. I have no idea how she didn't hit me but the ditch option she took let her know she muffed up.
