No kidding Jim. My mom sent me this forecast telling me to pack warm for my trip home this week. I told her to be careful or I'd cancel my ticket. I fly on Tuesday.

I saw a whole pile of King Oysters at the local Asian supermarket. Check those places if you aren't having luck anywhere else.

They've also got cool stuff like Jackfruit and Durian there too.

they have them at whole foods, or whatever they call themselves these days.

they sell them as 'royal trumps', but they are king oysters.

same here Rickles, my fire is on, and I probably look like one of your cats, the fat one, sitting close and keeping all toasty warm. But after my forest hike of 8 mile this morning, I am not asleep ....... yet

my stupid laptop mouse button on the right has decided to be a dikk and work intermittently, so I have swapped it for the right one in settings, so much less stress and not much swearing at the stupid button,

Nice day here, although a bit overcast. I discovered a new electrical problem...basically, my garage electrical circuits are buggered. The previous owner fancied himself a handyman. I doubt anyone else would've mistaken him for that.

Good Monday Morning folks.

Another birthday and a new digit for the number of decades. It sure as heck beats the alternative. As I was in line about to start my run I looked around at all the young wipper-snappers and wondered how much longer I will do the autocross. Then I slid around on track having fun and figured that was still a blast so why quit now. 38 years of autocrossing is not enough as yet.

Happy birthday (late, sorry) you two.

Uneventful weekend here. Got the lawn furniture put away, the snow throwers out. Primer doesn't work on the new one, again. Put Stabil in it last year. Put some carb cleaner in it and ran it a while. Let it sit. Still doesn't work. We don't use ethanol blend in any of the small engine stuff. Glad it has electric start. Snow tires are on the truck. Hunting licenses purchased.
