How early are you out on Mulholland? Do you have to contend with bikes, cops, idiots then? Lu and I have only driven Mulholland Hwy on weekdays, in the mid-morning.

I was out there on Mul Hwy from 8:30 - 9:30. Lots of cyclists. But my beef was with oncoming cars that would cross the double yellow to pass the cyclists on blind corners.

In the past we would go do our canyon runs from 7 - 9, to minimize the cyclists, motos, cars, and cops.

Three foot length of one inch RHS - woohoo, no broken bolts. Now fighting with the bushes.

That's a bit scary. I may have to stick to weekdays, since it takes me a while to come up from southern OC.

Good work Jeff! Beat it into submission.

I thought that was you- downhill, 'bout 9:15 in Paul's morning turn? I was going up on the bicycle in the 550 Spyder blueprint shirt. My reaction time was slowed a bit due to lack of oxygen.

I try to be off the road by 10am when the cars get crazy (coming from supercar sunday I guess) and the motos and cop traffic increase.

It was soon after that turn that there were a few cars coming up the hill. A Mustang went wide (into my lane) on a corner (they're all blind) while passing some bikes.

I stopped to talk to Paul on my downhill since he said there was going to be a big car group come through (never did see them, only a lot of cyclists) and a V6 Mustang came down and did a big tank slapper and almost slapped the rock wall. I could tell he was trouble (most Mustangs are) before he entered the turn and had taken cover behind Paul's truck.

Then when I left I found a Mercedes in my lane on those tight turns by the water tank followed by a couple NSX's. I just shook my head at the Merc and the other cars stayed in their lane.

Wow, the gabfest in the living room has been non stop. I am so happy I have a nice flat screen tv in my home office. I will be in the garage tomorrow where my air compressor pumps about as much air as the three ladies in the living room. They are having fun and that is the important thing.

Thanks, but the garage will be better.

The crazy thing is my wife invited yet another couple over to watch the. Super bore. The commercials are the only reason to watch a bunch of mutant men play with a ball. It will be a crowded place today.

They need to pay the players 50K a year + expenses, and lets see how many are still playing for the love of the game. They were saying tickets for the 50 yard line were going for 16K a seat. Holy crap, that is what I paid for the Boxster.
I have a feeling the game will be on at my house, Beth likes the spectical of it all, I couldn't care less

God, what another gorgeous SoCal day.

Gonna take the dog out for a stroll around the block. Then to get ready for some people over for the game. Mrs Noah's from Massachusetts, so she's a Pats fan. Plus it'll just be good to have some friends and family over.
