Morning Y'all,
OUCH. I run nothing but R-Compounds on Lanna so she doesn't see cold weather, or sand/salt covered roads, right now there are slicks on her but the new shoes are sitting next to her and they have tread. I'll have to fix that, the tread part that is

Argh..
Daughter came down with a bug or something right before bedtime. Been cleaning up the mess all night. She can't keep anything down. We've been lucky as no one has had more than a stuffy nose this winter.

I think the last time I yakked from being sick was around 2000 or so. I was walking a new employee through a GM plant at the time. I got that metallic taste and could feel it coming.
I stepped out of the main aisle and let it go right between some lockers. Felt much better after that.

Yea, as I was coming out of the sedation for surgery I felt the ol stomach churn. I fought it for a while but I finally relented and barfed up just a little. I felt better right away and they brought me lunch and I was happy to finally get some chow, even if it was hospital food.
As far as I can remember before that in the late 80s or 90s was trying to keep up with downing tequila shots with a 100 pound chick. She actually drank me under the table because I woke up under the kitchen table. That may be the last time I have been stupid drunk. I just drink a few beers now, I learned that lesson. I also learned she was a professional level drinker. She was a fun party girl but she got old real fast.

I usually never partake in the technacolor yawn but last week Beth and I had a frozen pizza and we both only rented it for about half an hour, that was a violent refusal to stay down for both of us, but it ended quickly

Haven't yacked for a long time now, I figured out that I should stick to beer or mixed drinks, not both together. Every time I go outside, my nose starts dripping like a faucet and I have a coughing fit....i'm ready for warm weather.

I seem to have a cast iron gut. I guess it was many years of being a bachelor and eating old leftovers and meals that were rather marginal in age. Anything to not have to my same meals.
One of my buddies taught me the etiquette of free meals from other families. Compliment to cook more than once, be sure she sees you have seconds and send a thank you card. I had some girlfriends tell me her mom likes me more than their brother. I fixed the computers for one girlfriend's father and he invited me over for dinner even after I had quit dating the daughter. Some free meals were really great, some were just sustenance.

Friend of mine's Mom makes the greatest tortilla soup. She refuses to give me the recipe because then she says she won't have any leverage to get me to come fix her computer. AND the last 3 times I've gone over to fix her computer she made some kind of mexican bean soup that isn't nearly as good as the tortilla soup!
