So, my mom decided it was finally time to get rid of her old MB 240D that's been in storage for 4 years so I told her I'd get it running and handle it for her.

Got a new one, threw it in, turned the key to let the glow plugs warm....took 10 seconds at most.....barely tapped the key to start and it lit right up......those old things really are bullet proof.....gonna change the oil and coolant tomorrow.

There was a guy who made a conversion kit to drop the 240d motor into Series Rovers....slightly higher top speed and way more torque....I was gonna cannibalize it for that, but the dude dropped off grid last year and it's just not worth it if I have to have a shop custom fab the adapters.

no i did not send him asparagus , asked Rick to help me get something i couldn't get myself due to discrimination of Europeans :P.. But when it came to paying for the object, the rotten bastard wouldn't let me.

I figured sending boolits is the right thing to do, but i ran into more Euro discrimination.
Luckily i have other friends in the US that helped me show Rick that you can't not let me pay for my stuff like that, it's one thing to help a brother out shipping something, but at least let him pay for what he needs shipped.
So i asked another Pelican to send Rick a box of loosely packed boolits, the sort they tried to ban. I figured, if they want to ban em, then Rick will probably like to have it
