We have some friends that are obsessed with Disney. They are even doing a whole week long trip in Orlando in October to celebrate a whole bunch of family occasions. They keep asking us to go but it's damn pricey to even get there from here! They have a huge itinerary for the trips with several private events booked. Should be one hell of a trip.

Don't know about for anyone else, but stijn was down this morning.

Have another friend that goes to DW Orlando way too much, but it's to visit his daughter that is an event manager at DW.

Watched most of Ant Man this morning. The bootleg is missing the last 15 minutes, bummer.

Evening Y'all
Man it is hot and humid, man do I love this weather.
Beth worked today so I clocked about ten miles in the mountains on a nice hike. Tomorrow her and I are going to hike to some waterfalls known as Blue Suck Falls, we are only going there because of the name.
Sleep is over rated, for the last three weeks I have been waking up between 2-4am, my usual time to 5. I have been using the extra free time to go for hikes early in the morning before that W thng.

Hot, humid, and getting up at the crack of midnight are all things I'd gladly live without.

Evening all.

It was horrible going without a Pelican fix all day.

+1

I kept checking but ended up trimming some tree branches as well as cutting one up that fell during high winds today.

FYI-My SC is listed for sale in the Pelican classifieds now. Hard for me to do it but we need the money in the bank more than I need a toy. I am hoping that I can get another 911 in a few years.

Shazza's fossils have finally vacated the premises, and it's slowly warming up.

Hopefully it'll hit double digits by the time I go for a hit of golf this arvo.

That sucks but at least you can sell it for more than you paid for it. That is a good toy.

I hope it goes to an owner out of state so I don't see it in person again. I've had this car longer than any others and it really became a part of our life.

The high miles will probably scare some but I would drive it pretty much anywhere as it sits.

My daughter cried when we told her we were selling it.

Sorry you have to sell the SC. Wish I was in a position to buy it.

One of the 911s that went through several owners locally was know as Ken's for long after he had sold it. It finally was sold out of state.

Condolences. Sorry to hear your situation is such that you must let it go. As a car guy would much rather hear you were doing the upgrade trade thing.

It's hard to decide a toy must go. I'm contemplating selling the bug. Thuy wants to keep it, but it would certainly be nice to have the money over a car that doesn't get driven much while we are remodeling the house. Would save some money in storage fees too.

Sorry to hear you're cutting lose the SC, Wayne. I've BTDT a few times over the years, not just with cars. It's always a sad feeling. I'm hoping you're back in another 911 before long.

Remodel the house vs. toy? That decision sounds familiar.
