I hope like hell that there are no fragments coming back from that far away, I would have to classify that as return fire

Update: My buddy who ordered the GT4 (and who has agreed via Jedi Mind Trick to sell it to me in 4 or 5 years when he inevitably upgrades) just got word that the car shipped from Germany today. So my car is on it's way!

Yes. Not only that, she likes the guy a lot.

A little background. This guy was a drug rep when I was a resident. We bonded over cars and bikes. He introduced/motivated me to get into Ducatis, and recently I returned the favor regarding Porsches (he bought a 991). He knows Mrs. Noah well, and I knew his (now ex-)wife well.

But I've moved onto life in LA, and he's divorced his wife (college sweetheart) and moved to FL, though still working as a DME rep in the medical field. In the meantime, he's gotten super fit, lost about 50 lbs, gotten hair plugs, and Lasik. So this guy now tells me all the time about how he's dating about 3 different women at once. Sometimes girls that Sid (age-wise) should be dating.

Normally, I would think (in my husband logic) that Mrs. Noah would find dating 3 chicks simultaneously would be a big smear on his character and liability. But when he came to LA to visit last year, after he left (I think he stayed with us for a couple nights), he sent us a floral arrangement and one of those Edible Arrangements as a thank you gift. So that's why he's on Mrs. Noah's favorites list. That's the reason why he's dating 3 women at a time, she tells me--because he knows how to treat them.

I don't understand woman-logic.

Friend of mine works for Apple, got divorced several years ago and has been a Hound Dog ever since. Mutual friends fiancé thought he was a really nice guy despite his reputation right up until he as our mutual friends best man at her wedding hit on her 16 yo cousin.

It has taken him 5 years of doing that knowing how to treat women stuff to get back into her good graces only enough that she tolerates him. When I visited in November we all went to dinner together and it was the first time they had been together since the wedding. He brought her flowers and an iPhone battery case as a gift. She really liked it, but still don't know if he is allowed in their house.

Morning Y'all,
Back before I met Beth I was seeing several chicks at the same time, and wouldn't luck have it that the first date I had with Beth one of the other chicks was also with me. It's a long story but it was a private balcony for a midnight showing of The Wall and I have Beth on one side and said other chick on the other side. I tried my level best to get numb drunk so that when one of them smacked me I wouldn't care/feel it.
I think you can feel where the rest ended up

The TV show found him and they went back and he did it again so it ain't a fluke.

I thought the guy hitting plates at 200 yards with a .45 ACP was reaching out a ways. Jerry is good with a hand spoon. You could drop that on somebody thinking they were behind cover.

Sid, next time you are in Wisconsin stop and take a look.

RE: Ricks night, I think Dave and Jim are both correct.

morning all. Take a day off and come back to a flea-pay bidding war in progress. Good times.

Good Mornin.

Decommissioning the old Exchange server today. Consultants are doing the lifting so assuming email and login problems will follow.

sigh

The deal is done, money is in our bank and they are coming on Sunday to take it away.

Financially, this is going to help us move ahead but I am going to miss being able to create memories in the car with my family. We had it before we had a house, dog and the kids.

I will have another 911 at some point, though. You can bet your a$$ on it!

On a good note, my FIL's Z28 is running again.

Dad has a nice semi-auto Browning Patent Savage in 12ga. Always loved that gun but it isn't one of the most pleasant shot spoons to shoot. This is him busting some clays.
