Gonna hafta rig up my vehicles with that no-alps phone thing...ya know, Hans Free. Though it would prolly take several a them 150 coupons ta pay fer it though.
Went an had some lunch with my Bro and we met his wife, daughter and daughter's kids. Did notice he answered call an talked no-alps then later waited till he was stopped before makin another call, also no-alps. We went to that Chick-fil-A place. First he didn't "meet" his wife there, they was already married. Next, my niece's kids are weird, and she has six of em. Chick-fil-A is all the kids's favorite place to eat. Chick-fil-A don't serve no meat except Chicken! Wonder if it the kids liking it has anything to do with the ice cream cones Granddad always makes sure they get? Also my Bro takes them to lunch there every Wednesday. Have no idea about the going out to lunch every Wednesday and school works. They all go to a local private Christian school that their Daddy is the Football and Basketball coach and their other Granddad is the headmaster.

In the same parking lot is a Jason's Deli. You can get just about any kind of sammach and a FREE ice cream cone. Glen and I often meet for lunch there on Tuesdays. The kid's still like the chicken place better.

Okay you asked for it.. Caution Long Story.
Oldest Nephew got married first to his HS sweet heart/party girl. After married went to college together but she wasn't interested in having kids because she was adopted and had that fear of what her genes had thing. AND She had bad allergies so instead of kids they got two pet rabbits and then 2 schnauzers. Which they got rid of because they were afraid to have pets around the first kid. 2nd Nephew was Yanked out of college right before graduating by Dad and sent off to IBLP Internship program (the home schooling group the Duggers are involved with). He ended up running the ministries purchasing etc. Fell for his secretary (who was his age). And got in trouble for going away with her for the weekend a couple of times without permission. She was oldest of 10. Her father was Quarterback for Vanderbilt and a millionaire from toy business. (He came up with, makes, and sells those funoodles floaty foam things everyone has that has a pool.) Her father made him promise one, that she would never work, and two that they would never use any kind of birth control. One of her sisters was handicapped because of a complication with her birth because of their use of birth control. Nephew not only agreed, but they planned their wedding so she would get pregnant on their honeymoon. And did. And because of father's birth control promise combined his wife's great relationship with all her 10 siblings also decided they would have as many kids as they could. About that time older brothers wife was reunited with her birth mother, found where she came from then wanted to have kids. 1st nephew is very competitive type A and it quickly became a race to see who would make the 1st grandkid. Because of 1st brother's wife having a little problem getting her baby maker started because of the long use of birth control the 2nd Nephew had the first grandkid only a couple of months before his older brother. Then it became a competitive thing to see who could have the most. With the the added goal of first nephew wanting a girl and getting boys until the 5th. They were really hoping for another girl when they had the sixth. While all this was going on the sister went thru a weird thing. She wasn't allowed to date any boys unless her Dad met and approved of him first. And she was okay with it as she found her Dad was basically asking her if she really wanted to date them before he would give his okay. Kind of a buffer for her so she didn't have to deal with it. Anyway, with this one boy she told her Dad she really really liked and wanted to not only date, but would like to marry him. When he asked my bro if he could date her he made him go have breakfast with him. They went to breakfast every Saturday for just over a year with my brother letting him know it was more than just a date, that he was a prospective husband and son-in-law, and he had to learn and show he would be the kind of guy he could give his daughter to. They got married after only a few months of actual dating. This guy that was willing to go thru all this and basically agree to marry her before actually going out with her was one of 12 kids. She had grown up doing babysitting, and helping in the church nursery and loved having kids around and wanted a big family like he came from. Besides the eight kids she had there were two miscarriages and she had to finally get fixed for health reasons. The 2nd nephew that was going to have as many kids as possible was also stopped at six. Her mother had another child, number 11, the same time she was pregnant with her first. They thought that was really neat until there were complications. Her Mom had a congenital defect that when she had a child with each child she risked increased of her having a stroke. What was worse she had that stroke with that 11th child. After the nephew's wife had her sixth the risk increased enough to have a stoke that she got fixed. And because her Mom had had the stroke her Dad begrudgingly okayed it. After the other two fell into health complications the first nephew and his wife decided six was enough and they stopped having more kids. Never have overhead or care to ask which got fixed. My brother and his wife being the fundamentalist types and actually knowing the Duggers just love having so many grandkids.

Buenos Dias, y'all. Last day in Valencia. Still feeling like crap. We'll probably go to the beach again to stock up on Vitamin D. Tomorrow we're heading back to Barcelona and jetting home on Saturday. Meh.

3" of rain yeterday, and 3" of snow today. Some idiot passed me this morning on a 2 lane state route, with oncoming traffic, snowcovered, and a wind whipped snow that was kind of hypnotic while driving into it ( I was doing 50 mph in my 4x4 F250). He raced right up to the bumper of the car ahead of me, and really looked like he wanted to repeat his stupidity until someone died. As soon as we got into town, I passed him at a stoplight.

Good morning all.
Richard I knew you had a lot of brothers and nephews but dang, that is a herd. My brother lives 900 miles away and he has two boys that both are old enough to have left home long ago. I have not spoken to either of them since my mom's funeral in 2006. I don't even know where they are living.

Only my MIL lives near us. All of the rest of our family lives west of the Mississippi. We sort of stay connected with everyone, which should be easier to do once we're on the left coast.
