Good Friday morning.

I turned 160,000 miles on my 911 at the last autocross. I suspect I will have another 5K or so after I get back from Yankee land & Canada this summer.

We had a big toad in our front yard a few years back. It was about 6 inches across. He learned to sit by the garden perimeter lights and eat the June bugs that the light attracted. It would leave the resultant deposits on the sidewalk. I mentioned that to my mom.

Now my mom was not a typical mom. Se was crazy about any animal and was a Docent at the zoo. She volunteered more hours at the zoo than any other person for several year in a row. If she was not home, she was at the zoo. She had a pet tarantula and she called this my sister.

Anyway she informed me that what I had called a toad turd was actually a toad "spool."

So I carefully collected the spools and she took them to the zoo for the education department to preserve for display. Last time I went to the education building at the zoo they still ere using the toad spool from my front yard.

This is Charlie the 6 foot boa constrictor she hauled around to take to schools to show kids.

We had contract programmer that came to lunch with us. She was also the wife of one of our electronic hardware engineers. During lunch she opened her purse and feed a pet snake from off her plate. She said it was her son's and that she carries it around with her all the time.

Joe, labs are the most friendly and smart dogs with people but other critters are fair game. Actually I guess it is a game for them. Ours was taught to bring what she caught for a treat so she was always getting the ground squirrels, moles, doves, 'possums, ground hogs, rabbits, rats. She left the red fox alone though and it could sleep in our yard. When something caught her eye she was focused on that and that alone and she could shimmy a long ways up a tree. Before the bald eagles moved to the area she would tree the neighbor cats and just sit below the tree watching for them to come down. Now the eagles eat the neighbor cats.

nah just evil

I just got the new firms CAD standard. So far I can't figure out how to draw anything we do. There are no layers, symbols or set ups that match.

We think we have it narrowed down to we are industrial and they seem to be commercial. They stop at the electrical box on the wall and we design the wiring and plc stuff in the box.

Ha ha ha, French curves you would like probably have more fuzz than you would like from what I understand.

I've done a lot of isometric Pen and Ink technical illustrations and parts reference explosions in my time. Took a college class on technical illustration and ended up teaching the class. Never had much use for a french curve. Always used ellipse templates for more accuracy.
