morning all, how goes the US of A. Spring being not to hectic I hope. We are starting to freeze our nuts off so it must be getting warmer on your end of the big ball.

Had to take the WUR out of Steve's Pusha today and send it off for a refurb, I think something "magic" happens here thing inside has given up the ghost. Whilst it runs nicely when warm it is an absolute bstard to start, its a matter of taking off the airbox cover and air filter, and playing with the little widget, very technical eh!!!!

sigh

I suppose it didn't like sitting for 4 years. Go figure, such a temperamental beeatch.

Steve went to take the Indian for a ride today, and nothing, no power, nothing, out with the battery, cleaned the terminals, neg was a bit crusty, battery back in, vroom go, who would have thought that a tad of crappy white **** on the terminal would stop everything, but hey, it goes now. Battery said it was at full charge.

I got a great leaf blower for Mother's Day, backpack type, goes like the dickens, had a lot of fun today as we have so many exotic trees, leaves everywhere, the aerodynamics of the little buggers is quite interesting.

Huge haiiry dog sitting on my laptop and me, got to go

Greetings from a position on planet Earth that the rotation of Earth once again provides a view of the star Sol, and the beginning of a cycle of light and warmth from Sol. My location on the Earth and it's axis of rotation relative to Sol marks this light cycle as one of the more temperate as the upper hemisphere warms receiving more exposure to Sol's influence as it orbits Sol.

My gastric disturbances are informing me to take sustenance to end the fast of he dark cycle. Think I will adventure out in my travel machine and see what I can find to resolve these disturbances before I start the tasks scheduled for this light cycle. The local atmospheric conditions are such that it should be an enjoyable adventure away from the base domicile.

Great deal!

Spent $500 for the 5 TB external USB 3 drive not too long ago. However, it is an IoSafe Fireproof Waterproof drive with free data recovery.

lol, Richard has a grasp on the vocabulary.

Richard you should have been an english teacher, or a science teacher, or both.

I do remember trying to explain to some of your fellow countrymen, how the other side of the world doesn't have summer the same time as them, some weren't able to grasp the concept at all.

Yeah, Monaco F1 GP should be exciting with Hamilton trying to come through the pack, hopefully he will crash and someone else can win for a change, liiike Ricciardo!! Go Auzzie

I like Kimi's interviews, he starts loud then gets quieter, mumbling and trailing off. He knows what he's doing....

sWhy in the heck does NBC put freakin fishing shows on instead of the live F1 race, really?. The race started at 7am local time and they don't have it on their schedule until 9am! They even have the pre and post race shows both scheduled at their regular times like the race was still being broadcast live. The post-race is scheduled to be aired before the actual race. Bun heads.

They gonna make me setup a VPN and start watching F1 on the SKYSports stream with Kodi!

It may be the last straw to setup my system to completely cut the cord.

Stijn!!

The pre pre race was on MSNBC and the ore race was on NBC and the race was after that. The post race coverage was back on MSNBC.

Fortunately my DVR records it for me and I just watch it in the right order and fast foreword through the commercials.

It was nice to see Hamilton so upset after qualifying that he could not get out of the car. Boats was just 2,000th of a second off the pace so it was not the car.

Yepr.

I have to take photos of the landscape only, the missus objects strongly if I take photos of the bikini clad backpacker girls bottoms.

Oh boy, found an installer for Kodi on the AppleTV 4.

Going to have to install it and check it out!

If it works can get rid of the Mac Mini.

Even if them bikinis all line up in a row for you? Wouldn't want you to Mrs. the shot. Tell her you are taking it to send to me. Even better, tell the bikini girls you are taking the picture to send to you friend in the US, maybe they will all pose for it. A panoramic shot full of bikinis would be epoch.

Think when the bury the guy that invented USB connectors they ought to start to put him in the ground, but then pull him back up turn the casket around and then put him in.

I find them backpacker chicks difficult to talk to. Especially when they have a naked tit playing peekaboo with you outta their singlet arm hole. It's very distracting

Phew.

I mowed the yard today and that was the easy part. Mrs Carrera has a barrel that is a compost that is on a frame of plastic 2x4s with some big bolts that lets it rotate upside down to stir up the compost. She decided to put casters on it before we filled it up. Wimpy little casters that were not up to the task and failed in no time.

She said I should figure out solid casters and how to to make it work. I drug the thing into my garage and raised it up on the taller for the lift. I cranked up the AC since it was HUMIND outside. I used a bunch of tools from the drill press to the skill saw. It is solid now and we can likely give rides around the neighborhood on it.

Not gonna happen but we could. 4 hours in the garage and it is done.

Lets see. Doesn't feel like I've actually done much today.
Watched F1.
Kinda watched Indy 500, did wake up to see the more horrific crashes and then the end.
Went to BestBuy and got a USBC to USBA cable for AppleTV to computer.
Updated Mac Mini to newest MacOS to run Apple Configurator to load Kodi on Gen 4 AppleTV.
Oh and made home made pepperoni pizza for Lunch/Dinner.

Discovered there is a new grocery store in the metropolitan area, Moore so far. It has a area that lets you buy things like salt, flour, coffee, etc. in quantities as little as a few ounces to a truck load. Sounds kinda like the general stores of yor.
