I am not going to attempt anything since I have yet to see a picture of my sample sticks.
![]() After Friday's email about the inability of departments following proper policies and procedures no one has replied back to help redefine them so I guess I will make them up myself. I feel a catbert derived set of policies coming up!

I'm thinking 1/2" to 5/8" rod about 36" long pointy on one end for the extreme needs.
Need a drawing or is the description good enough?

Back when I used to drive to work every weekday I make a left turn to go south from a 4 lane street to a 4 lane street at a stop light with left turn lane. One day with the wind from the south I noticed jnext to the curb in the far right lane a few car lengths from the corner the grass was just starting to catch fire. I made my turn, stopped and stomped the fire out. While I was stomping an old 4 door Chevelle pulled up, 4 nuns in habits got out and sprinkled bottles of water on the blackened area.
Told some people at work about it because I thought it was kinda interesting. Wondered if the car full of nuns had sprinkled holy water on the fire. Coworkers asked me if I threw the cigarette out the window causing the fire. I told them yes, I can throw a lit cigarette 4 car lengths into a 10 mph headwind AND across 5 lanes of traffic. A couple of years later I had the exact same thing happen, nuns and all. That was kinda spooky.

Long ago in the bad old days of 55 MPH speed limit I was making a road trip in my 914 from Oklahoma back to Alabama. They had just changed the gasoline formula and the 914 fuel pump was right under the heater exhaust valve in the engine compartment so the fuel pump got hot. It was a hot summer day and of course the 914 was an UN-air conditioned car. The new gas would vapor lock while driving along. My brother was riding with me and we were bootlegging several cases of Coors with us back to Alabama where I could sell it for three times what I paid.
Anyway the fuel pump vapor locked somewhere in east Texas. My brother was convinced a little gas in the air intake would make it start. He actually brought a 8 ounce bottle of gas with him to try it. I cranked and he poured in some gas. The intake burped and flames shot out and caught the bottle of gas on fire and he of course did not hold onto it for long and dropping it in the grass off the road. He had just set a nice grass fire. I jumped out, grabbed my fire extinguisher and put Texas out. I put the air filter back on the 914 and the fuel pump had cooled off enough to start. That is when a State Trooper came along. There we are, with a smoldering patch of burning Texas and several cases of beer in the trunks. We explained I put the fire out and did not mention we had started it. He thanks us and said drive safe and off he went. The quick cure was to pour some water on the fuel pump and it would cool off and off we went. It worked for several years before the gasoline changed, but I had to move the fuel pump to under the fuel tank to cure the problem forever. My brother had 1st degree burns on his hand. We stopped at the first place we could which was a Stucky's and we ordered some soda. He got the largest one he could, and immediately drank some down and stuck his hand in the ice. He walked away sucking on the straw with his hand stuck in the drink. I paid for both drinks and the chick asked where we were from. I said Alabama, and she replied, OH!, OK then and nodded her head like it was normal for people to put their hand in the drink. I sold the Coors for enough to pay my gas costs. No grass fires since that trip.

Stainless of course. Nice shine, easy to clean and won't rust. The ring will have to be supplied by you.

Considering the use of said rods I think a trip to the HR fools will be in order.

It's not Monday. There were even birds chirping earlier this moring. But now, instead of the sun coming up it's just cloudy, cold, and raining, Bleah.

There is water falling from the sky. Really, just falling out of the sky and the government had to think hard of a way to tax it so they charge a drainage fee for the free water that is no longer free to drain off my property.
Most Oklahoman's are happy to see the rain. We are not since we have projects to fly and we can't fly them in these conditions. So I have to pay a fee for the water falling out of the sky and I can't earn a living to pay the taxes at the same time. It ain't fair, we need laws against this! Of course the law would just be a tax on me for something else so maybe we don't need more laws.

They gotta pay for all the culverts and drainage ditches somehow. What do you expect them to do, use the monies from the taxes they have already been collecting to take care of that stuff that they have spent on something else?
I like how my City Services has gone up $10 per month and the only thing they have done is change my trash collection day to Tuesday instead of Monday. If I had known it was going to cost $10/mo more, would rather have just left it on Mondays. And they still don't take cardboard or styrofoam to recycel Goodwill takes them and makes money recycling.

Of course they don't call it a tax, they call it a "fee" since the state constitution says they have to have a 75% majority vote in the legislature to raise taxes.

The citizens got sick of the politicians raising taxes every time they met. A citizen petition was passed and restricted the state legislature to a super majority to raise taxes. Now they just raise the fees.

The neighboring county has roads closed due to all the rain. One small river had all the large rocks used to prevent erosion washed away in a heavy storm last fall and they just put them all back. This morning as I drive over the bridge I saw the water was flowing high and fast just like the storm last fall. I wonder if they have to fetch the rocks again.
I think we slid over to the pacific northwest for a bit with all the rain. At least it isn't 30+" of snow.

The sleet started a while back. The roof of houses are turning white. It is down to 27 and rain is falling. It is about done with the precipitation. With below freezing temps and wet roads the slick spots and idiots will be a factor.
I made the arduous trip for lunch, all the way to the kitchen and back and did not encounter any slick spots. I think I will stay home today. I did have to make my one sandwich however.

Yeah, we haven't had our big ice storm this year so all the idiot driver's can keep the auto body and wheel repair shops rollin in the dough.
Do NOT want to even try to drive the 928 with the slightest chance of slick roads. It is not tuned well enough to drive slowly smoothly. It would be a Spin City Spectacle.

It is always scary to think of the last 12 months of brand new drivers that have NEVER driven in ice and snow, and rarely in the rain.
