Thankfully Pepper thinks she HAS to do her waste evacuation in a specific part of the yard only. No Worries about the house.
You do know that a dog's instincts are so strong to NOT go in their den that they will eat their waste as it comes out to keep the den clean? Camber did get skunked twice, 2 too many times. Both times were early in the morning and put me on skunk clean up detail instead of going to work that day. That Nature's Miracle Skunk Odor Remover stuff worked great though. Was driving a couple of miles away, in a much more populated part of town, and smelled skunk. So am assuming my back yard is not a completely skunk free habitat. Have a gallon of Nature's Miracle on the shelf in the garage. Also I know there is at least one opossum in the area so keeping Peppers rabies shots up-to-date is a must.

Is it bigotry when half siblings thinks they are better than other siblings that has the different parent?

Possums very rarely get rabies. Your dog needs the shots for sure but skunks are big time carriers of rabies. Possums not so much.
We had some bunny rabbits in the back yard last year. It as amazing to see them runn at full clip and just dive under the fence in a tiny little hole and vanish. It sure pissed off the dogs. Dachshunds just have too short of legs to catch a rabbit. My old Doberman would have caught a bunny.

Camber has brought me rabbits, squirrels, birds, and a opossum. Penny would chase them all, but did catch and release. Pepper hasn't caught anything except garden snakes and lizards. Maybe she has reptile dysfunction.

Although talk of nipple lube and pole dancing has been quiet for some time, this thread still seems to cover everything! Happy Saturday, y'all!

Yes I do!
I would add that most of us here have awesome spouses that let us enjoy the car hobby. I say most because we have some single folks on the board.

After Mom passed my SIL went thru all the family pictures to "make sure she had copies" of the ones she wanted. And a couple of months later returned the albums. Last week my sister and her husband came and stayed with my brother that lives behind me. i didn't know she and her new husband (she married after Mom passed) was even here until the last night when they invited me to dinner. Got the impression it was my sister's new husband that insisted they invited me and he paid.
Went to lunch with by brother today. He made a comment about printing copies of pictures and how with the photo paper he couldn't write who the people were on the back. Come to find my sister was here so they could go thru the pictures my SIL had taken from the family photo albums. No wonder they didn't let me know my sister was visiting. I asked him if that is where he suddenly got the "Original" pictures and he didn't answer. After several minutes of awkward silence he started talking about how the pictures were his side of the family. I know for a fact he didn't associate with those people growing up and only met them at the few family reunions that I also went to. When I was young my parents traveled a lot on weekends and such and I have actually spent more time with the members of HIS side of the family than he has. And they were not so-in-so in-laws, they were just introduced to me as aunts and uncles and cousins and treated me as family as well. At the reunions they recognized me right off, but had to be introduced to my brother and told what relation he was. After getting back from lunch I went thru a few of the albums and there are LOTS of holes with pictures missing. When I was given back the photo albums my SIL also returned a brief case I didn't know she had. It was the case my Mom carried all the family genealogy stuff in. During all the visiting and family reunions Mom wrote everything down building a family tree and descriptions of the people and what they did and any stories to go along with it. Checked that case and it is EMPTY!! fing A's. If they would have taken the originals and left copies then their place I wouldn't have minded. But they just left holes!!! Like none of those people matter to me. And without even asking. Kind of like when they went thru my kitchen. Beside taking all the bowls, vases, etc of any value my sister wanted me to throw away all the recipe books and a lot of the cooking utensils saying I didn't cook. I asked her who the hell had been doing all the cooking for the past 15 years since Mom's stroke!!! I cooked dinner most nights for my Mom, Brother, and brothers girlfriend. After my brother and his girlfriend moved out and got married, she appologized and told me she never offered to cook because the stuff I made was so much better than what she could make. Isn't extended family wonderful. Might be good to go try to find some pole dancing and nipple lube.

It sucks Richard.
I have just one brother and he has been married for 38 years to the same wife. They live 900 miles away and I don't see them very often. I talk to my brother on the phone on occasion, but not regularly. They have two adult boys but I don't even know where they live.

Guess I'm just a ba$tard and don't know it.
On my Dad's side of the family my grandad was adopted as was the Davis name. My great grandmother, Daisy Mae De Bord got pregnant and the fellow died the night of his bachelor party. It was either in a poker game dispute or he fell off his horse, no one knows for sure. All I can remember without Mom's records was the guys last name was Bodine. Don't think his first name was Jethro though. Anyway, her family kicked her out for being pregnant and his family shunned her as well. She went to work as a live-in housekeeper for George Alva Davis (whom my father, the oldest was named after). They got married and he adopted my grandfather, William Patrick Davis. After she got married the Debord family welcomed her back. This was in the hillbilly part of North Eastern Tennessee. That's as far back as my Mom was able to go on my Dad's lineage. We and my Dad's brother's and sisters have been to several DeBord reunions. Was also visited and stayed with several relatives in that part of the family. I was pretty young when we did all this traveling and spending time with relatives, would like to have my Mom's genealogy stuff so I could remember who was related how not just that they are related. Figured would always have that to fall back on so didn't devote it to long term memory as much as I evidentially should have. I get to laugh at them on one thing...I have a diamond ring my Mom had made. The ring is a rose with a huge diamond in the middle. The diamond ws from her grandmother's engagement ring and great grandmother and Mom both liked roses. Great grandmother willed the diamond to Mom but Grandmother didn't give it to Mom until after my grandfather died. Don't know why. My brother and sister don't think the diamond is worth anything and don't believe me when I told them where the diamond came from. I specifically remember the jeweler bringing the ring to my Mom when he had finished making the custom ring. It was only me and Mom at home when he brought the ring to her. He spoke very well of the stone and seemed overly interested in Mom being happy with the setting. He also nervously showed us another stone he carried in his pocket all wrapped up in paper that was a little bigger than the one in the ring and thought we might like to see it because it was worth a lot of money "as well." I was very young and him showing us the other diamond probably helped me remember the incident. Though it didn't make sense to me him showing her another diamond AFTER making the ring. As I think of it now it was a little strange that the jeweler came to the house instead of Mom going to a jewelry store. Remember Mom talking about the diamond and what she wanted to do with it, but don't remember her talking to a jeweler, only him bringing it to her after he had finished it. He may have come by and I just don't remember it. Personally don't care whether it is worth anything enough to go get it appraised, think it is neat just for what it is. I do know that Mom never wore it she treated it more like a valued keepsake.

Yep. Dysfunctional families are a real treat.
![]() I spent the last few hours estimating the fixing-up and recurring maintenance costs for a sailboat I have an interest in. Let's just say that the numbers I came up with are kinda large. Dang.

That intake looks kinda like the Edelbrock intake I put on the big valve 400 transplanted into the GMC Jimmy. Also did hooker headers, RV cam, High stall torque converter, roller rockers, chrome valve covers. Couldn't get the Holley 600 to run right, so rebuilt the Rochester 4bbl and put it back on. It was a beast!

That sounds like the numbers so far for the available Cayennes with the features I want. Looking for Red or Carmon Red with air suspension, towing package, and xenon lights and NO Panoramic roof. All I've found so far are a couple of 2009 GTS's for $29K. A bit more than I want to spend to get cornering lights.
Found a couple of S's in the same year options and condition as mine they are asking from $12K to $16K for. So $10K a couple of years ago was a really good deal!

Used to always put K&N filters on my cars. UNTIL. Put one on my 928 and saw the fine silt they let thru laying under the filter in the filter air box. Checked the 944 Turbo and the same thing. A very fine silt on the engine side of the filter. Started just keeping with factory non-oied filters after that.

Do some google searching for supercars and ads for them will start showing up in the web pages with ads. Kinda like customized pictures for the web sites you visit. Maybe I should try searching for nude women and see if the same thing happens?
