I found these cars in a field while deer hunting, I posted on here - the self proclaimed biggest and best 911 forum on the interweb, hoping for help in determining if these cars had any value as a project.

I was encouraged to go back and get photos. Even once I got the photos, I was called a liar - some even implied that the photos were photoshopped.

I then went back a 3rd time on the advise of guys on this forum to get serial numbers and nearly got shot at. There were no 'No Trespassing' signs that I saw.

Then the main thread got closed. What a bunch of snobs.

Makes me wonder if I would buy anything from Pelican if I ever do buy a 911 to restore. Hey - isn't the purpose of this forum to attract business to Pelican Parts, not chase it away?

Why are you making fun of my screen name / Avatar? VEGEEN dates back to my childhood in the old country and the rough translation is 'Fast Gene'.

Eugene.

Ok, It matters not how you found them... You crossed a fence onto private property without permission... Round here everyone knows that will get you shot... Guess you city folk aren't that bright... Quit whining....

That field looks like a prime deer hunting spot!

Is there anyone who's taking any of this seriously?

Yes, deer probably put the Porsches there to attract humans.

They beckon me.

Eugene.
First of all, posters here do not profit from Pelican sales...so threatening to go elsewhere only makes your life more difficult if you are a Porsche owner. Pelican is "the source." Secondly, although it was suggested that serial numbers would help you determine the cars' values...my assumption was that you would contact the owner and get permission. I personally would never dream of messing with someone else's cars without permission. Finally, the other thread was closed because the guys were screwing with you mercilessly.
Sometimes guys post here with silly names playing a joke on the other posters and finding a field full of Porsches is an old Porsche cliche. That may not be true for you in this case...but apparently some of the guys think so. "Vegeen" is a name used in a very funny comedy movie. If this is not a joke, I suggest that you come back with a different name and put this behind you. 911s are great and I would highly recommend you buy one if you have an opportunity. Although there may be a small misunderstanding now...all enthusiasts are welcome here.

Just for arguments sake, what's this old country called??
(I still think you're a troll, but I wonder how well did you prepare your alias)

Which one is it? Vageen or Vegeen... Ask P.P. to check if Vagin is available?
