Ill try and upload a few pics of our 914 2.0 barn find track car project. unfortunately ours came with the standard issue northeast rust package. a good mig welder and a grinder and all is better.

I love them. I've had 3 of them and my son had one I bought for him. I made him sell it when he got a DUI in it. Broke both our hearts on a lot of levels.
I was converting one to a six when I found my 911S. Now that I'm retired and the "S" is sold, I may look at one as a project. I'm on a fixed income now so another 911 is not in the cards. A 914 could scratch my itch for less money. I love the way they handle. I think the 914-6 is the best of both cars. One of the best ideas Porsche has had. Zef, that was my car. 74 Special Edition. When I got it, the yellow had been removed. I only discovered it was a SE by finding a yellow chip on the spare wheel. I really did like that car.

Got the front hood open tonight. Two bolts and the bumper was off.
![]() ![]() Surprised at how clean the trunk was. ![]() Washer cap is missing, but there is 3/4 tank of stinky gas in the tank. ![]() ![]() Rear trunk isn't bad either. I took pad and carpet out for the pic
