On Bustleton ave, just north of the city limits in Feasterville. Cannot remember the name of the place. They had 4 of them, and an 870 express riot gun for $245.00

With cylinder bore you need a red dot? Do you have vision problems?

The red dot gives you 24 hour day/night targeting.
A red dot is also good for longer ranges, especially with slugs. I bet a good red dot would add between 5 and 10yds to the effective range of a slug throwing smooth bore vs a single bead sight. Besides, it looks cool!

He might need to clear a room across the street though.
![]() Seriously though. In a low light hunting condition, using slugs, or even buck...out around the max range of the spoon, a red dot can make a real difference. |

Come on don't turn it into a hater thread - it looks cool and there is a lot of interesting reads on the spread of buckshot. Besides - it was 26 bucks on Amazon!

If i end up getting one of those $265.00 Rem 870 Police pumps i'm almost definitely gonna take the Fastfire off my P7 and put it on there.
They sell a super slick stock spacer mount for it. I think the HUD will line up a lot more naturally with a long gun. ![]() It looks pretty badass on my AR with a riser mount. Gotta remember to take some pix next time i'm swapping around optics and messing with the AR config. With the carry handle rail mount i can have 3x day/night targetting systems at once. Laserlyte red laser, tritium iron sights and the Fastfire. The PS-55 looks much cooler though, so i just leave that on there. It works great anyway.

Same here. Juggling an apt, bills, an antique V-8 porsche and a love for guns while on workers comp is not easy.
I wanna buy one of those Rem 870 Cop pumps BAD...but...no deniro. |

I took the 18" Mossberg in post 4 skeet shooting and got 8 of 20, granted, not good but I hadn't shot a shotgun since I had a 18" Stevens 77 back when.

Don't feel bad about that. I shoot 20 out of 25 at trap all day but I really suck at skeet. I wouldn't do much better than you with the best gun on the planet. I don't know why.

long bbls help swing through for sure. i'd be pretty impressed with myself if i hit 8/20 at skeet with an 18" shotgun of any sort.

Dave, Snipe i'm right there with ya. My guns for the most part were accumulated pre-Porsche. Have done some trading around in the past but never sold one outright w/o replacing immediately. really is tough to just pick one obsession.
