my truck is titled as 1918, has license, insurance and even inspection sticker. didn't really have to have the inspection, but I have a good friend that passes me for anything I bring in.. or not if I would rather put the sticker on myself. I'd rather not give the police an excuse to pull me over by not having a sticker on my windshield. you might try killbillitz.com, ratrodsrule.com or any other rat forum and you can learn anything you need to know. I could also fix you up with a complete set of plans and pictures

Yikes.
Are there any "Prepare to Stop" signs hanging across the road about 200 yards back... with flashing lights? That would really help there. From the other direction, too.

yes, on both directions. when it starts flashing, you won't make it thru the redlight. I had been sitting there almost the entire redlight cycle alone. by the time the truck slid past me, the light had turned green

those skidmarks are from the trailer rightside tires to give you an idea how close he came to running over me. for some reason, no skidmarks from leftside tires.

Johnco, there is nobody on Pelican whose posts I have enjoyed more than some of yours. I am very fond of the brief summary you once wrote of your exploits with your brother. The crane and wrecking ball over the water was a particularly memorable story. Your life makes Jason Bourne look like a Palm Springs retiree/golfer.
