The waters around Catalina are COLD. Not as bad as Tenkiller, but not far from it. Take his buns down to Cozemel and let him see what 200 foot vis and warm water is like. Then he will be spoiled for life!

![]() Cozy is not that far from you and the diving there is excellent. Also its "American friendly" so to speak. ![]() Vis is pretty good and notice that they are wearing only a shorty and BC, no real suit to stay warm. This is easily 100-150 foot vis right here. ![]() Lots of fishes around ![]() ![]() Beaches aint too bad either

20' was a good day...but then the spearfishing was great...lots of rockfish & ling cod. Cold? 50 degree water...wetsuilt a must.
