First some of you nitwits complained about the waste of American taxpayer money. You were 180 degrees off on that bon mot.

Then there was the knee-jerk US political reaction of the anti-green group. Again, there wasn't any US political involvement in the OP post. But , knee-jerk reactions are clear evidence of thoughtful examination, right?

After, being shot down like a rabid dog for those faux pas of displayed idiocy, this circle-jerk group then attacked it as a useless achievement and of no value. When it was pointed out that the US Air Force, the Air & Space Museum, the EAA, the Society of Experimental Test Pilots, AOPA, the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale,and others all had shown support and understanding far beyond what your feeble minds could conceive of, you must resort to infantile attempts at misdirection and dodging the very points that were turned against you.

I don't think I originally mentioned tax payer dollars being wasted although any time PV solar is discussed, you might as well because the majority of it has been aided by govt subsidies or by excess taxation of other forms of energy.

The results of showing PV powered aircraft to the masses helps foster support and helps clear the path to more govt spending of tax dollars on PV production which will never be a large scale affordable source of energy on it's own.

I lumped all the critics in one barrel. So please do not think I was putting words into your particular mouth. Tim, lets get back to some civility. I apologize for any insult toward you on this thread, but it did not appear as if you had read, watched or researched concerning this effort. It still doesn't appear that way.

These kinds of statements have a nasty habit of coming back to bite you in the butt. How do you know PV will never amount to much? Do you have any future developments already in hand?

Who ever said the Swiss were the only ones? Just not the ones in the OP. I have dealt with the comments that clearly indicated most posters were commenting with sweeping generalizations about and entirely different project (see pic you posted), as others also commented on this error.

After your circle-jerk group was corrected on the US tax payer error, your minions of ignorance launched into critiques of technologies that were clearly outside their small knowledge base (as you are wont to do repeatedly).

Then we address the commercial applications where you, Gilligan, repeatedly tried to belittle this project comparing it to blimps and satellites, all which of course have already been addressed by numerous experts in named and posted international aeronautical groups (not that you have researched them), but that we are supposed to believe that your abilities and opinions surpass theirs.
