FWIW the outfit might get you picked up...by a guy! But hay, chicks feel safe around a gay dude - maybe you could score some with the old "I've bever experienced a women before...I guess I'm a virgin but if I was to be with a women it would be you..."

FWIW,

Labor day was last week and that's usually a hint to put away the seersucker for the year. The shirt doesn't go with anything, so turn it into a rag for cleaning. Nobody wears shoes like that, so let me know if you need ideas there. Lose the facial hair and the burns. Suck in the gut. Sit like a man, in a comfortable chair, when drinking. Don't drink alone, it's just not done.

Other than that, you've got it nailed. Good luck.

JR

Well Sidney, it's like this.... you can argue the fact that the colors are a little obnoxious... it's not like they don't make running shoes in solid colors. But the real reason is that they are running shoes (or a cheap-ass imitation of same) and they were made for running. Not going on a date, not going to a club, not anything but running. And, there are actually a few people left who wear them accordingly. Me, fer instance....

Once you get enough years under your belt, you'll discover two things. One, is that the old saying "clothes make the man" has some validity. I won't bore you with the details why but, rest assured, running shoes, sports jerseys, sweats, scrubs, saggy jeans, t-shirts, etc. really aren't daily wear for most succesful guys. Two, chicks dig clothing and, if you are looking to land one, your odds are infinitely better if you dress well. They pay particular attention to shoes.... and, the higher class the female, the more this is true.

Happy Monday,

JR

They forgot the Sperry Top Siders, no socks.

They didn't mention the biweekly manicure.

They didn't mention that he shaves his forearms.

Uh oh. I am wearing my sperrys right now. With no socks! Gasp!

Sid the reverse happens when you wear these type of outfits. It shows that you have the confidence to not care what anyone else has to say. And if they do, eff em. You will have people asking you where you bought the shirt, chicks APPROACHING you, and generally it makes people happy to be around you.

I wasn't looking to get laid, just hanging out with some friends having a good time. I am too interested in College Football to care to get laid on a Saturday in the Fall.

I do what I want.

Are you "free-lance" again?

If so, I guess I'm not following the soap-opera closely enough...

Free lance as I ever will be. Back to my awful commute though.

Also, that shirt was only 6 bucks at Steinmart. I buy my work cothes there(shameless plug) and I find that they have some outrageous shirts that can be bought for pennies of the original price.

I am still rocking the handle bar 'stache at work today.

My names Tom, and I am always good for a laugh.

Edit: Gman- search No shave November and you will understand...
