One thing that should me mentioned, Jan and Dean should get most of the credit for the beach boys sound.
No doubt that Brian took it to the next level but it was basically Jan Berry's music. Much like Brian Wilson, Jan Berry was seriously brain damaged from a car crash that had way too many similarities to their song dead man's curve. |

brian wilson is actually back on tour with his own band performing the whole pet sounds record and either released or plans to release the lost album smile very soon. supposedly brian fixed alot of his issues but he cant fix the damage that the drugs did. and the beach boys produced a song that was written by charles manson and manson left a bullet with a death treat on dennis wilson's door step........I've loved the beach boys since i was a kid......the last bit of original beach boy spirit was lost when carl died.... i remember seeing them prior to carl dieing and they still had a bit of it left but once he died it was all over.
