Stuff with Italian Sausage/Garlic Gloves/Pepper, rub with Dry Oregano/Grounded Cumin/Ground Coriander/Dry Thyme/Salt/Pepper
@ imcarthur Yes, we are looking at 6 Plates at a cost of $0.75 per plate... Not bad since the the Big Mac first debuted at Delligatti's Uniontown, Pennsylvania restaurant in 1967 at a selling price of 45 cents Out of the oven http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1338772648.jpg Plain http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1338771982.jpg With 5 Pepper Corn Sauce http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1338772086.jpg |
Looking good & well within budget. A pork roast is always a great buy.
Pretty scary place mats though. Ian |

Veggie tostadas (tapatias in my hometown) are my wife's favorite quick meal. She "thinks" they are quick, but I make my own salsa and guacamole. Those look great!

Lemon preserved in lemon juice and salt. 3 months from now the rind will melt in your mouth. Chicken Tagine with Preserved Lemons and Olives I failed today. I smoked some pork loin far to long. The dog got fed well. Just dried it out. Too much temp & time. Rubbed it down with ground ginger and pepper. Smoked over Charcoal and Cherry. Just plain didn't check on it. Next up, home made Ginger Ale and Ginger Beer. Went down tho the local Indian store and picked up a ton of fresh ginger for .79 a pound. Beer bottles soaking in cleaner right now. |
Thanks - I am addicted to the tangy taste of lemon & will make me some of that there stuff.

OK lets see how pretentious a description I can make ;) LOL
BBQ Magret Duck breast, with tamarind guajillo chile glaze, pineapple serrano chili salsa, and pickeled red onions on locally made artisanal corn tortillas.. Equals: Duck Tacos.. I love Duck. Duck doesn't have a great following on North American tables, and gets little respect compared to the soylent green chicken sold in our markets by Mr Perdue , and Daffy will tell you that he gets no respect, I love Tacos, and foods you can eat with no utensils except for your hands... The Duck, pineapple and serranos were roasted on hardwood charcoal from the Great White North SmileWavy In all it was very good, there was a bit to much acid from the tamarind, lime and pineapple.. could have used some crema or a mayo, alas my fridge was unable to produce those items from its depth... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1339464840.jpg |
I love the preserved lemons in Moroccan food..
Tangine is a neat way of cooking.! http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_vj4HxglBxA...ine_blanco.jpg roasts and steams at the same time sort of... looks almost like an Alembic.. |
