Te-bow! Te-bow! Te-bow!

Man that guy's fun to watch.
Now John Elway is gonna help run the Broncos, you just know he's gonna work with Tebow in the off-season, he's got a pretty good shot at making people say, "Brett who?"
If not, least least he'll dominate the ESPN top 10 plays of the week LOL

I live in the area Tebow is from, an exes son played baseball with him and me a Gator myself, I watched him play for UF.. Of course, had the Jags gone after and signed him, they wouldn't be whining about not selling tickets or a quarterback..

He's got the it factor, that's for sure. He may not be the fine technical quarterback that the NFL typically looks for, but he has the ability to lead a team and make things happen. He's also, by all accounts, a damn good guy.

San diego is the most under coached team in the league. They should have been in the super bowl a few times in the last few years. Tons of talent, no leadership. BTW I hate /denver and SD but like Tebow. How can you root against Jesus,LOL?

Living in Colorado, everyone is pretty excited about Tebow. While Orton had some good stats, he just isn't a leader. The problem in Denver isn't the offense, it is the Defense.

With Elway coming back, it will be interesting to see who they bring in as a coach.

explain how someone in the front office is going to help someone on the field there.

isnt elway being brought in to run the football relations office?

i lived in colorado during the elway days and he was the only good thing i liked about the team...but he is there to run the show not to help some kid to break all his records.

Tim Tebow Hits Denver Record Book in His First Start.By Dennis J. Georgatos
NFL Writer
Text SizeAAAPrint this page|EmailShare on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on DiggShare on LifestreamIn his first career start for the Broncos, rookie quarterback Tim Tebow already has a spot in the team's record book.

Tebow ran 40 yards for a touchdown Sunday in the first quarter, stunning the Oakland Raiders defense by breaking through on a quarterback draw that came with the Broncos facing a third-and-24 play.

It was the longest run from scrimmage this season by a Broncos player and the longest run by a quarterback for a touchdown in team history. Tebow's TD run eclipsed the previous record by a Denver quarterback of 38 yards by Bubby Brister in 1998.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Quote:
Controversial first-round draft pick Tim Tebow solidified his claim for a piece of that future last week, rallying Denver from a 17-point halftime deficit against Houston to a 24-23 victory, his first as an NFL starting quarterback.

Tebow threw for a career-best 308 yards and a touchdown and also ran for a score against the Texans.

-Only five quarterbacks that are now in the Hall of Fame have thrown 300 yards games during their rookie seasons: Troy Aikman, John Elway, Jim Kelly, Dan Marino, and Warren Moon. All of them had their rookie seasons during the 1980s.

Coming out and playing a good game is one thing. Playing long enough for defensive coordinators to find out and expose your weakness's is another. Kordell Stewart ring a bell? The guy couldn't do anything wrong coming out of college. Even went to a super bowl and a pro bowl. The opposing defenses finally learned to take away all the options he had and made him make decisions and read defenses. Didn't last too much after that. I hope it works out, but for every Tebow that came out of college with all the hype, there is a Tom Brady that got drafted in the late rounds. The Pro's is a different game.

I've watched Tebow long enough to say, he still surprises me, and one thing that he has going for himself, over many others is leadership. He has many weapons too, run, throw, jump pass and size. Tebow is like the Tom Bradys, there for the game, not the Fame, but he sure does attract it..
