Anything that you can do to change that??? I know even some of my more boring rides (diesle VW truck, made X-mas look fast) could still be some what tweeked for fun.. I'm not talking big engine mods, maybe some susp mods..

maybe eventually - I have way too many 911, VW Westy & house projects right now.

If gas prices go up enuff in the next few years, I might be able to pick up a Jeep GC or LAN Drover for cheap - can't get the adjustable suspension thing out of my mind...

Or I might find a VW Syncro Westy some day, or a new version might be introduced -- then I'd have a lot more latitude for a daily driver...

thanks! BUT, that was discussed on Samba recently - they think it is a scam (pretty scam, but a scam)

I did kill the locking/unlocking chime on the F'er and installed a run for the V-1 in the Overhead console...

I'd still like to kill the DRLs and the seatbelt chime...

I've also coated it with a fine film of grunge & cinders (Orygun Hwy Dept. uses volcanic cinders as sand on icy & snowy roads - they can scratch the German glass windshields in an instant...)

I am also looking for some hot lesbians to "take for a ride" in it, so if you know any...

My cousin just got an 06 Forrester XT Turbo. After the motor blew up after 3 days (turbo expired and sent shrapnel into the cylinders), he had a new one installed, and i will say, for a station wagon (or whatever it is), it is obscenely fast.

Turns out that my old Outback had much better cup holders than the newer Forester...
